No way in Hell I'll go back

Let's see, Where to begin? First off it took the staff 3 times to find me a room that was ready to "Occupy" First had a big pile of what looked to sawdust of some kind in the middle of the floor, Second room was blocked open and was about to close the door but decided to check the door key before I closed it and it didn't work. Back to the front office I go. Was moved to another room and the key actually worked. However the was a big sticky spot on the floor. I just put a towel over it and dealt with it. Was watching TV that evening and it went out. Wiggled the cables around and got it working again. Some time around 745 or 8PM someone got the brilliant idea to mow the lawn which happened to be right outside my door. I went to latch the security lock and and the thing nearly fell on in my hand. I went out to my vehicle and got a screw driver fixed it. End of the first night. Went out for the day the next morning, stopped by to check of the breakfast offered. Didn't really want to roll the dice on that. Came back later that evening and turn on the TV. No signal and no amount of cable wiggling was going to bring it back. however the Paramount streaming on the box did work so it wasn't that bad. Right after dark someone got the brilliant idea of running some kind of golfcart or 4 wheeler around the court yard. This was Friday night so people seem to gather out the for what appears to be a party judging by the pizza boxes and beer cases I seen in the breezway the next morning.

Telephone didn’t function, clock didn’t work, TV didn’t work, no creamer, sugar or stir sticks, only enough coffee for 2 cups. Only enough shampoo and conditioner for 1 person. No body wash. No elevator. Sister’s room next door was the same. Cord was cut on her room phone. Another lady came in complaining about her room as we were checking in. We thought it might be an isolated incident but it wasn’t. Water was hot, AC was cold, bed and pillows were comfortable.

There was a crack under the door at least an inch tall that I covered with a towel so bugs etc couldn't come in from outside. The internal toilet valve was not working and I couldn't get the water to turn off at the wall, so it ran all night. There was some type of noise in the wall every so often, not sure if some type of pump for waste water, but was fairly loud?? I will not be staying there again.

Needs maintenance in the rooms. Like burned out lights. Tv had no signal. Heat unit would not power up. Very smoky odor in non-smoking room. So I complained and she gave me a different room. That room had no lights in shower area except for a very dim night light. and needed some new carpet. Bed was nice and had a good breakfast though.

The room smelled musky, like wet furniture… the chair was stained like it had been peed on or something was spilled on it. The door did not lock other than the key card lock. AC was weak and humid. This hotel is supposedly undergoing renovations. The stairs are horrible. No elevator. Rooms open to outside. Room was dingy but clean. The luggage rack was missing the bands to hold up the suitcase. Low income projects behind hotel. Bathtub was disgusting. Old hotel in disrepair. The pictures are deceiving.

The motel was clean and quiet. Convenient to the interstate without being loud. The staff was quick to respond when called. My only real criticism of the property was the breakfast. Eggs & sausage were Cold and the potatoes were almost raw.

If you need a cheap price —

When I got my key I was Verbally told what room—got lucky and remembered it. There was trash in the grass—including a dumped “to-go” meal container with leftovers. My room had an odor—that didn’t go away as i acclimated to the room. It smelled musky! I couldn’t get the tv to work—called the front desk and he said he would be right over. 40 minutes later I walked to the lobby. A new person was there and said he would come over AFTER their GM Meeting—and he did—if were the GM, I would want the customer taken care of first. The problem with the tv—it had to be on hdmi12??

Our room was so dusty I could write my name on the mirror, and the floors were dirty The sheets smelled stale when I woke up the next morning my clothing , and body smelled like the sheets. The water did not drain well in the tub, and we had to change rooms because our room card would not open our door as well the second room either. That meant we were at the front desk three times.Don’t plan on staying here again..
