The young man at the front desk was great! He was very friendly, funny, and accommodating. He offered me Best Western rewards which I have not been offered before; he also asked if everything was going okay when we passed through the lobby. The pool was nice (the indoor/outdoor passing was fun for us), the breakfast was plentiful,and the honeymoon suite was quite cozy! The two queen room my family was in was a good size and very cozy as well! Nice hotel in a cute little town!

Best-kept Secret in Galena
I had booked 2 rooms, 1 for our adult children and 1 for my husband and me, and both had the cabin-theme. We truly enjoyed our time, we had a little balcony. Sumit checked us in, and he was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay there again when we travel to Galena!

The room smelled terrible. There was a potato chip in the blanket when we arrived and a brown streak on another blanket. Towels were dingy. Shower curtain moldy at the bottom. Dusty webs on the ceiling. Flickering lights in the bathroom. Dirty and dusty indoor/outdoor furniture. Not enough hot food at breakfast for all hotel guests. Pool and hot tub area dark and depressing. Yellow ring around hot tub. Dirty, weed-filled parking lot strewn with litter. Reasonably friendly staff. View from balcony would’ve been nice if grounds weren’t littered with pop cans and cigarette butts.
