The host to take a reservations when we got there his name was Nathaniel. He was great and helpful. Because it was a vague event going on our room was ready by 3 o’clock. The biggest problem we had was the shuttle that we’ve paid for to go back-and-forth to the event. There was no specific direction for where people should be sitting to be waiting. People cut in front of the line to jump in the shuttle, which was not right because they were parked down the block from everybody else and then we had to wait for the next shuttle. So what I’m trying to say is make specific where everybody stands to wait for the shuttle so there is a line. So there is nobody no body in front of each each other.

Restaurant was fabulous! Food was amazing! Nice to not have to drive! Saturday nights Irish entertainer was fun, entertaining and loved the authentic Irish music and information about Irish influences on Galena!

Clean room, friendly staff but fell short on ameni

We got the extra room which was great to have a bed with complete darkness. The idea was one person can relax in the separate room room while the other still slept. Unfortunately, the couch was ridiculously uncomfortable and rigid with a perfect ninety degree back angle. This became a running joke for a trip. Even the library and sitting room downstairs lacked any comfortable chairs. Finally, the bed headboard was this wooden carved design, which unfortunately made it extremely uncomfortable to sit back on. Thankfully, they had enough pillows to remedy that situation. Breakfast was just okay. The eggs were pretty bland and watery. But the fresh fruit was really nice. I'm the sausage was different but good. The restaurant was really good and we enjoyed our dinner. The 24/7 coffee was very much appreciated. The staff was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the shuttle on Sunday only ran from 2pm to 5pm. Would stay here again, but would not pay for an extra room.

Very clean . Breakfasts were a good selection . The afternoon tea time is a great touch with the scones being delicious. The restaurant /pub was tasty . It was nice to relax and listen to live music and not have to worry about driving afterwards . Definitely would stay there again .

This property is clean and the breakfast has real eggs! We had dinner in the restaurant too. Our waiter, Riley, was pleasant and informative. The meals were both very good.

This stay was the last leg of our seven day trip. I found this hotel by chance and we loved it. We will be back soon for an extended that we have not booked yet. Well worth be little out of the way.

Rooms were very nice, clean and spacious. Service in the restaurant was not very good or clean. Seating was limited beacuse tables were not bussed. People raved about the breakfast but it was limited, table was messy, and they didn't replenish. When an item like fruit or bread ran out, it was gone. Go early or miss out.
