Was hoping for a traditional Irish breakfast since it’s an All Irish themed hotel. That was disappointing and the breakfast offered was not very good either unfortunately but it’s still a great place and very convenient for Galena. Would definitely stay again

Food at Frank o Dowd’s was so good. Room was so clean and the ambiance of the whole hotel is so charming and welcoming. The Library was so charming and a nice quiet place to just relax and read a bit. Breakfast put out every day was nice and hot and tasted great with nice options. Even the hiking trail was relaxing. The room was charming with a sofa area and small table and super comfortable bed. Can’t wait to come back here again.

I enjoyed the Irish motif and charm. Although a short drive, the hotel was very convenient to Main Street. I had dinner at O'Dowds and the food was excellent.

It was awesome!

We’ve never stayed in a hotel that was this cultural and antique-ish! We loved it and we were in awe the second we walked in. I’d 100% recommend staying here if you’re visiting the Galena area!

Everything went well. The Irish pub happened to be closed, as it was a Monday. The place could reduce its carbon footprint by raising the air conditioner setting in the lounge to a level that is not so cold.
