The property was very clean. Loved the library! Something that I noticed upon showering was that the water was very soft! This may not be a big deal to a lot of people but it is to my husband and I! After commenting to the front desk I learned that they have a brand new water softener! The hot breakfast was amazing! Overall a wonderful stay!!

Lovely hotel. The pub restaurant was a highlight of our stay. Friendly servers and the food was delicious. The rooms were clean and had all the modern amenities with old time charm. We enjoyed our stay very much would definitely stay again.

I gave the hotel 3 stars due to elevator not working for our entire stay, 4 days. I was excited about breakfst, they used to have excellent choices, but not anymore. Tasteless eggs, bacon and orange juice mix from the bar. I beli e that rooms were remodeled 2 yrs ago but the hotel kept old furniture. Scrached, faded headboards and night stands. It looks shabby. On a positive side music at the restauramt was nice and lobby clean. I don't plan on booking there again. Sadly, the hotel is not what it used to be.
