Fun place with lots of history and beautiful decorations. Fun facts about their history and even a hidden room. Nice renovation so I understand recently and the hotel looks very nice. Our room was comfortable and well decorated. Very clean. Small bathroom as it is a historic building but we had everything we needed. Large lobby with lots of seating and old fashioned but well working elevator. Easy parking and nice restaurant. Highly recommended.

We stayed at El Rancho Hotel for one night as we traveled through New Mexico. We discovered its history while we dined in their restaurant. Our room was a total Rt66 nostalgia trip which we loved, from the wall digital phone to the working phonograph with albums. But the comfort of the bed, the walk-in shower, and the 65”+ Smart TV (we watched a Netflix movie) were all better than the good ol’ days. We had very good 1/2 lb burgers and the chips & trio dips at the restaurant. Every encounter with staff in booking, check-in & out, & request were handled professionally yet in a personable manner. My wife & I wished we had a few days more just to explore some of the features of El Rancho that we didn’t have time to check out. Any trips through NM will hopefully include another stay.
