The room had dirty clothes in it from previous tenants tv remote did not work right had to get it fixed and the two chairs outside both broken and we left to eat when we came back the parking place was takien I asked about it they said no assigned parking id have to find another place to park if one there wasn’t available I paid 288 dollars to have to search for a parking place was a total rip off

This property is advertised as a seaside hotel, right, but our room smelled musty and damp, so damp that when we got home, our clothes felt wet. They tried to adjust the air conditioning, but when the maintenance man opened it up and took it apart, I’ve never seen so much dirt, dust, and filth in one place. You could tell they had fixed some things in the room, but not the air conditioning and also not the low ceilings in the bathroom and sink area. There was so much dirt in the ceiling sections. It was just awful. They fixed some of the tile in the bathroom and yet the grout around the floor entryway to the bathroom bathtub was positively gross. We always wanted to stay at this place, great location overlooking the gulf , because we thought it looked charming, but unfortunately, we won’t be back. I will say the pool area is very nice for families with children. They seemed to be having a great time. The adjoining restaurants could not be better, but the old original seaside Inn is too old and worn out.

I didn't like the the bar by the pool ,who tried to double my bill on my debit card I caught it on time and got it straightened out,this happened to me once before same place,or either the bar tender and idiot or a conn artist either way management should look after staff taking advantage of senior citizen,check your bill before you pay in this place.

I love staying at this property! The rooms are nice, beds comfy, always clean, the pool is great, both restaurants are amazing and the view is perfect! My only complaint is that so many of us prefer the upstairs rooms with ocean view but the stairs are treacherous!! They're so steep and make it difficult for the older customers and/or someone like me with a bad leg due to a car wreck! But staying downstairs only leaves a view of the cars parked in front of the rooms. I spoke to several of the older customers staying near me who felt the same!! Maybe investing in a zig zag ramp or rebuilding the stairs so they aren't so steep would be awesome!! Otherwise the property is my favorite!!

The staff was very helpful. The rooms were clean. The air-condition in the first room we were given did not work. The staff quickly gave us a different room quickly. I liked the fact that there is a restaurant/bar with it and it had a nice pool.

Not the same place

All of the non guests using pool area made it very difficult for paying guests to enjoy to pool area. Lots of drunk people and little kids in the hot tub. The hot tub should be a kiddie pool. The rooms are dated and in ooor shape. Dirty carpets and refrigerator that didn't work and toilet with broken flush handle. This used to be our favorite hotel but too many better choices in Galveston

The water temperature is not regulated, could burn the skin. If you are looking for luxury, this is not for you. This is a motel setting. The kitchen staffs are very nice during breakfast.
