They overprice the room, well above the market value of that room and they want to charge extra for everything. The towels were dirty or stained, the soap was non-existent, the service was the worst, everything had an additional cost, very expensive for the value of the room, the beds were in terrible condition as were the pillows. Actually the worst hotel I have ever stayed in, I will not go back there.

I will never stay here again. The staff were rude, they wanted to charge us $20 for an extra blanket and refused to provide one. Property is filthy. Check in is at 4. A bunch of us got there 2 hours early due to flight times. It was $35 extra if you wanted access to your room which was ready so instead of accommodating they made elderly people wait in their lobby with no coffee or tea They also would not store our luggage so we could at least walk down the beach to kill some time. Save your money. Worst hotel expert I’ve ever had

Would not recommend

It was a good deal, but not a quality room. The walls were falling apart. We got a late checkout, and we were waiting in the lobby apparently the staff unaware and they were talking about us negatively. They thought we were still in the room, even though we had already vacated the room, just very unprofessional because you never know who’s around.

The room was filthy, dust on everything. Mildew and mold in bathroom and shower curtain. Found a roach roaming around after I got out of the shower and the baseboard on one wall was falling off. Rust everywhere n fixtures. We were on the first floor and the noise from the parking lot was so loud, you could hear every car alarm or locking beep go off. The AC/heat unit sounded like a plane was about to take off every time it was about to start. I bought a chocolate candy bar from the front desk and when I opened it the chocolate was white and it tasted old. They did give me my money back though, so I appreciated that. I will never stay here again and I don’t recommend you do either. Our friends stayed in the room next to us and pretty much had the same experience!

I called to confirm my reservation, they told me i did not have one. So i made anothe reservation,.. I arrived and had 2 reservations, they will not tefund one reservation, rude, they are not interested in what you say. They blow you off. Diety, i would never stay again. Went to Galveston alone to get some uninterrupted work/planning done. Internet wasn't working, which for my purposes was the same as "no bed." Checked out immediately, found another, cleaner, in better repair, hotel. THEY KEPT MY MONEY! I have disputed the charges with my credit card company. If that doesn't go well, I'll have to sue them in small claims court.

Run, don’t walk away

From the moment you pull up, you feel like this was a mistake. The pictures online are very deceiving. The outside and inside are both actually falling apart. The room was as clean as it could be considering the age and condition of the motel. Breakfast was not even a possibility as we checked out as soon as they unlocked the lobby (yes you read that right)

The place was very dirty. Coffee and cups in the room but no coffee maker. Was told they would get us one the called back and stated they did not furnish coffee makers but we could go down anytime to get coffee from the lobby 24/7. When we went down on both days of our stay the doors were locked and we were told we could not get coffee until 7am. The staff was not friendly and seemed to be more interested in laughing and joking around with each other rather than attending to their guest. The floor in our room was so dirty our socks were black on the bottom and we left black foot prints in the tub when we showered. The whole facility is run down and in dire need of painting and their were several places that needed repair. We will not ever be staying here again and will recommend that no one does!

Worst hotel experience of my life!

Drove 1000 miles for a family vacation, only to be lied to at the front desk about the suite we booked 8 months prior. The new owners moved into the suite & hoarded it with their belongings. Our room was dirty, was missing blankets on all 4beds, TV had lines across it, internet wouldn't connect, toilets kept backing up - and guess what - no maintenance on duty so you are handed a plunger! They do not maintain the property in anyway, there was so much dust on everything, as well as mouse/rat droppings behind the furniture. The clocks, lights, and mini fridges did not work. My children's feet were black after being in the room for less than 45 minutes, the elevator was boarded up, owners stalked us and accused us of things we weren't doing, made us so uncomfortable we checked out a day early. Owner would not provide my cash deposit back and had to get into a heated argument about it, makes verbal agreements at check out that he blatantly LIES about. When we called the local police to report the theft, we were told that this happens all the time at this hotel, and it has went downhill ever since these people purchased it. On duty officer stated everything that was told to us about a fire marshall being there in the morning was a lie, and that specific officer was at the hotel to evict another room that day, and not a word was mentioned about me and my "bad" family. Owners use the room deposits as a way to make money.

Stay away from this dump owned by THEIVES.

Stayed here 6+ times in past. Despite the bad reviews, always stayed in a suite & never had issues. Last visit was late 2023, before it was sold to new owners. Planned this trip a year in advance & booked 2 suites for friends driving 1000 miles. Upon check in we were lied to & told the toilet didn’t work in 1 suite and were given two rooms (& 1 suite) instead. Later found out that the hotel owners live & hoard in that suite, that’s why it was not available, & every toilet on the property had issues. All 3 rooms were dirty, the suite smelled like mold, beds didn’t have blankets, tvs didn’t work, internet did not connect, elevator was removed & boarded up, feet turned black if you walked without socks or shoes in the room...… amongst many other things. We tried to make the best of it bc we were here for the beach. When we had problems a toilets didn’t flush, the front desk gave us a plunger & laughed in our faces. When we asked for actual blankets for the beds, we were some, including a fitted sheet with toenails in it. The new owners are obsessed with following you around, making you uncomfortable, accusing us of smoking inside the rooms when we had 3 children and they could see the actual smokers out on the smoking deck. The owner posed as housekeeping and when we opened our door said it smoked and we invited him in the room, as we had nothing to hide. Owner will make verbal agreement & then LIE!!! We contacted the Galveston police and filed a theft report against the hotel.

I reserved a suite with 3 beds for 6 adults. Got here and reception said Expedia doesn’t know what they are doing because they don’t even have suites. He didn’t reduce my cost even though I ended up not being able to have everyone stay here. Told me I can take the 2 beds or find another place to stay at. The room I reserved for my sister was the exact room I got but half the cost. I explained that to him, that I should be charged suite price if I have to find another place for the other adults that doesn’t have a bed now cause they don’t have suites. He didn’t take ownership of anything. Pretty much said I can take it or leave it. Pretty disappointed in them and Expedia for not providing what I reserved.

The worst hotel

My stay in this hotel started with too long line and too much waiting time to check in. My room was dirty and too run down furniture, only one towel for two of us, no coffee Maker, incompetent and careless staff.
