Decent stay for price point, but only worth it for being able to take the dog. Unsure if I would go again. Pros: just one street away from the Seawall, middle of island close to a lot of stuff, front desk associates were kind and respectful, actually dog friendly including large dogs which most other hotels are not(mine is 70+ lbs), doors have multiple types of security locks so it feels pretty safe if you're traveling alone. Neutrals(because I didn't use them): wifi and pool available. Cons: people can bring aggressive/reactive dogs, during my stay lots of people were being extremely loud until midnight right outside doors and in the pool, in my particular room the toilet seat wasn't secured correctly and was falling off, the caulking in the tub was rotting away, and the metal tray beneath the fridge was rusted and pulled out where if my dog was too curious I'd be worried about him getting hurt. Generally I try to be pretty forgiving with service work like this and I'm not super picky anyway, a hotel is just a place to rest at night for me usually. But the cons of this particular trip were too much to overlook. If you're wanting a fancy hotel for your stay on the island I would definitely go elsewhere, but if you're low on cash and have a well behaved large dog that doesn't get into things and only need a bed for a few nights then this hotel works fine. Hope this review helps someone!!

Do not choose a stay by the look at the photos as they’re deceiving. There was urine and fecal matter in the elevator. When we brought the manager up to see the filth that I have photographed. His response was the housekeeper doesn’t clean under the beds for $60 a night. We paid more than double with Expedia and that excuse didn’t fly unless Expedia takes 1/2 of the room rate. The rooms should be cleaned regardless. The shower was cracked. And the elevator issues were gaslit. With mgmt denying bodily fluids. I’m a nurse and know what body fluids are. The reason we found the filth under our bed was our original room booked had A/C failure and we were not advised of this problem prior. So we took a look at the double queen and asked if we could put the beds together when we were given the ok, is when roach casings, hair, food and other crumbs were found. It was bad. Another customer who was on the disgusting elevator said she was checking out because of the unstable flooring and filth in her room. This property is in an amazing location but doesn’t have either maintenance to care to keep up on it or whatever their situation is.,The manager was kind to point us into a different hotel that may be more suitable for our needs. We did move hotels.

I was comfortable and pleasantly surprised and very satisfied with my room and the cleanliness of my room! I want to stay there again next year! I can’t wait! I was able to relax and enjoy myself in my room and outside at the pool and an easy and quick walk to beach!
