What people should know is that you are definitely right in the middle of all the action of Galway. Right outside our window was the Quay bar that had loud music with a thumping bass that continued until about 2:30am. It is a great place to be if you want to be up and partying and then crawl back to your room but not if you plan to try to sleep before 3am. I should have done more research on that part for sure. We had two nights booked and had to move to another hotel for the second night as we would not be able to deal with the noise the second night having to be up very early. I tried to go through Expedia to assist me with modifying my reservation but they said they contacted the hotel to help me cancel the second night and get refunded but the hotel told me they did not have any correspondence from Expedia. We checked out after the first night and then I sent an email to the hotel explaining the situation hoping they would refund me the second night due to the noise abd since we did not stay and checked out prior to the checkout time but I have not heard back at this point and probably will not. Live and learn.

Beautiful room ! The front desk was very accommodating helping us with luggage since there is no elevator. No complaints - would definitely stay here again
The room wasn't much bigger than a closet, but for one night it was fine. Our room overlooked Quay Street, but the noise was not a problem. The only real problem was that the Window shade was about one foot short.
Perfect location for your stay in Galway. Parking options nearby were also very convenient and relatively inexpensive. Would absolutely stay here again.
Fabulous location! Was very clean and was able to check in early, which was nice. The room was exceptionally small, like basically a bed and room to open the door and that was it. We also had an issue one night with air conditioning going off and it got insanely hot as we were on the top floor. We are used to small hotel rooms as we travel a lot in Europe, but this was by far the smallest. Not a problem unless you are a bigger person or need more space to move around. We would stay here again just ask for a larger room.
Just as the name describes, the hotel room is quite snug. It’s nuzzled in between a small convenience store and burger joint. The location itself, was spectacular. Everything you could possibly want was within walking distance of the hotel. With this being said, you are right in the heart of the downtown bar scene with everything that entails. Which may be someone hosting a drum solo outside your window at 2AM or drunken patrons loudly singing whilst walking back to their own “snug” hotel room. If we were to visit again I think we might opt for a slightly larger hotel room off of the main strip. All that being said, we very much enjoyed our stay and I think it was a great way to experience Galway.

Stay was exactly what you expected it to be. Perfect small comfortable accommodation right in the action of it all. A couple things were broken in the room and it was super loud at night due to the location. Bed comfortable and cool to sleep in.
This was a great location if you wanted to be close to pubs, restaurants and music. The nights are very noisy and the room doesn’t block much out, but that is the price you pay for being in the fun part of town 😊 they do provide ear plugs though.
Loved the street the hotel sits on it’s so festive! The room was tight but I expected that, I appreciated having the space under the bed to store our luggage and a shelf for our phones.
The bathroom had a good sized counter to put stuff on and a “closet” space making it easy to get our stuff up and out of the way
Check-in was quick and the beds were extremely comfortable. The best night sleep we had in a week of our travels.
The only thing about this property is there is no elevator. We had several suitcases we had to lug up a couple flights of stairs. However, staff did offer to help us up the stairs if we wanted. The property is in the heart of shopping, food, etc. Yet, even with all the activity in the street below us, we did not hear a thing in our room (that was facing the street below). We would definitely stay here again.
Lovely staff and property, would definitely stay here again! Loved how it was right amongst the hustle bustle of the town, but also cozy and quiet within the walls.
The location was lovely. It’s on a pedestrian walkway so parking is not on premise. The rooms are definitely snug. Parking was about an 8 minute walk. The property is close to shopping, pubs, and restaurants. There is no lift so you’re caring your bags up the stairs with the help of the staff.
