We’ve stayed at the Riviera several times over the last few years. The motel is well managed and we felt safe and comfortable. The beds are new and the sheets are heavenly.!! The breakfast was very good and included scrambled eggs and sausage. We will stay at the Riviera again on our next visit to Kingston.

Jacuzzi jetted tub worked well. Aircon was ice cold. Tania at the front desk helped us to get the TV working (only works when you enter the hotel WiFi). Breakfast was good and included cooked food.

If you have any special requests, such as adjoining rooms, don't count on it. They will say “no problem”, even though you confirm twice, you may or may not get what you asked for. The language barrier is a problem. Complimentary breakfast is terrible. Needed to go across the road to buy fabreeze air freshener.

Great personnel, no any issue during the reservation and they well responded to our request. The rooms are not young, but everything you need is there. My only little complaint is the mattress, old springs make a lot of noise and it could be more comfortable.

It’s definitely an older hotel however; they are and have been actively updating everything in the rooms, outside and at check-in ( main entrance ). We needed assistance twice and both times they were fast and efficient. Customer service was very polite the only problem was is you had to wait a long time for someone to come serve/attend to you as everyone was busy working or cleaning. They just need a better system for ppl going to office or to check in. We will definitely be back! 😄

I would like to commence on a positive note acknowledging that the staff are excessively courteous and friendly, the breakfast is arguably the finest I have ever encountered at a motel. However, the motel necessitates substantial renovations and updates. The beds were exceedingly uncomfortable, the slightly movement elicited a noise suggestive of impending collapse. Overall cleanliness was satisfactory. I would consider returning if updates were undertaken.

Room was clean and reasonably priced. The included breakfast was pretty bad . The breakfast room was unsupervised, with dirty tables, there was hardly any food left when we got there about 1/2 way through breakfast time and the selection was very limited.

Rooms were very clean! (The shower curtain was a bit old but it was fine). Breakfast was okay-ish with options but the staff was very friendly. I absolutely have no complaints about this place otherwise. I would stay here again :)
