This is a great place to stay - the reasons are well documented in the reviews but the best thing about staying here is the AC. It is both efficient and quiet! Usually in hotels/inns the AC is either one or the other. At YBI it's both!!!

We stayed in the riding high suite. It was a beautiful room upstairs. Had a gorgeous view of the mountains. Breakfast was delicious, blueberry pancakes, sausage, cinnamon coffee cake juice and coffee. It is about a 5 minute drive to downtown and the downtown is in the backyard of the north entrance to Yellowstone. We would stay here again

We loved our stay at Yellowstone Basin Inn. Our room was very nice. The room has been recently updated. The bathroom and shower/ tub look brand new. The location is perfect for spending your days in Yellowstone park and enjoying the quiet mountain view at the inn in the evening. We were there for 3 nights and every morning breakfast was different and wonderful. My favorite was the homemade coffee cake.

Yellowstone NP weekend

Great mom and pop motel...super relaxed and far enough away(5 miles)from Gardiner to feel remote but close enough to go out for dinner..elk and deer across the river ...with chairs on the porch to watch..rooms and bath are big....breakfast included...so you are ready to go ...straight from the motel...would stay here again.

This is a small independently owned hotel. The natural surroundings are beautiful. The rooms are very clean and well decorated. Its a great option for anyone who is here to launch into the North Western gate of Yellowstone National Park.

Free breakfast advertised non-existent which was a shame as there were great reviews for this. We did not get a friendly welcome… considering this it was expensive and did not deliver against the advertising…

Nice cozy room — nice sized and clean. Check in was interesting since no clerk present and it took a few (Lobby unheated) minutes for person to show up. He was very nice!! Expedia description included breakfast but it’s not included during the winter months.
