The national park was really close and the town was in good walking distance. It was nice to be able to back right up to your door. The rooms were clean. The shower got and strong. As a group of friends traveling having the large vanity outside the shower/ toilet area was a real plus. Would stay again.

Yellowstone River Motel

The desk clerk was very friendly and gave us a good recommendation for dinner. The patio area in back of the hotel is a lovely place to sit and relax. We saw a herd of elk grazing across the river. The hotel is old and in need of an update. It was clean, but had stained carpet and very thin towels/washclothes/sheets. The bathroom was extremely tiny. I would call it "quaint".

Our room was very clean and beds were great. Most of all, the staff was exceptional! Friendly and helpful folks. The motel is an easy walk to some shops and cafes for a quick stop before entering YNP.
