The decor of the interior of the hotel, and especially the rooms, was beautifully done and immaculately kept. For what it was, i.e. a small hotel in the city center of Partenkirschen, this hotel was great.

This was such a lovely place to stay in Garmisch! The neighborhood was really quiet, which was lovely, but had quick access to both Garmisch and Partenkirchen. The breakfast was amazing- the food was so good and I ate so so much- perfect for fueling for a big hike. The terraces are lovely- I woke up to an amazing, private view of the Zugspitze.

great service and good location
The hotel is very nice and the room was comfortable. The bed was nice and comfortable, not too hard as is usually the case. Lol The room had a balcony and the door was able to be tilted open to let in cooler air from time to time because the heater worked really well. I was able to adjust the heat so that the window wasn’t open all the time. The staff was nice and friendly and they had no issues with my large German Shepherd Dog staying. The breakfast was wonderful. Every day you filled out a from for what you wanted for breakfast and it was served to you at the table. The location was good, about a kilometer from the pedestrian zone, an easy walk. Then, just down the road was a river with a walking trail which was great for walking the dog! Parking was easy and on site for free, always a plus! Really enjoyed my stay, would stay again.

The property is in a good convenient location. we had beautiful views from the windows. It was only a short walk from the town. the hotel was clean and had a really good breakfast. The staff were friendly and informative. Would recommend the hotel and stay again.

Lovely
We loved our stay at the Hotel Alpengruss. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable with a separate living area and terrace with a beautiful view of the mountains. The breakfast buffet had a very good selection. I would love to return during the winter season sometime.
