Our room has a second level which gives a bit more privacy when travelling in a group.. 2 washrooms is also a plus.

The property is going through renovations and it was not inconvenient, just noticeable. Room was large and so was washroom. Staff was friendly and helpful. Nice place to stay.

The bathroom was dirty and had stains. The room smells damp. $200 is a lot of money for this place. The only good thing was a very nice and kind supervisor. Otherwise I do not recommend it.

I stayed in the loft suite and it was beautiful and spacious. It has 1 king sized bed and 1 queen size bed. The property was well maintained for the first part and the breakfast buffet was typical ($12 per person). However, room keeping would seem to come in and take towels or bring more soap but never made the upstairs bed. The upstairs toilet also seemed to have some issues when flushing (don’t flush the toilet paper) but the problem was resolved fairly quickly. I didn’t get a chance to check out the indoor pool but next time I visit the area I will be sure to stay at this location! It was close by to multiple stores such as Walmart and even a cute little ice cream shop (top tier). I felt safe because the property was by a police station and the city view from the upstairs (loft) window was gorgeous.

Not bad but could do better
The hotel is clean but outdated even with the room renovations they have attempted. The renovations are not completed or they hired bad contractors for the job, for example in my room the doors are off balance and wont close without force. There was a big gap between the closet door and wall. The curtains seem old and theres a microwave in a ramdon spot at the end of the hallway just chilling there seems like someone just put it there without thought. The hotel location is ok ther are some stores around and reataurants are withing driving distance. It is a bit of a drive to downtown Ottawa if that is what you are looking to tour. You can hear wvwrything in the hallways and since its hardwood floors you can also hear when the people above you are walking around. Theres a restaurant in the hotel but not much info about their breakfast or anything at all really the front desk didnt give much info. Theres a pool but the area looked old outdated and not inviting my kids didnt want to use it afterall. The beds were ok but only three pillows each bed and we were given three towels, no hand towels and one clean and one dirty face cloth. The room service only made up one bed the next day, we stayed for two nights. We were out and about most of the day so we didnt need to spend much time in the room i guess it worked out.

La chambre n’étais pas lavée, il restait des ballons de l’autre visite d’avant, était sensé d’avoir un sofa lit dans notre chambre et il y en avait pas en plus lorsque nous avons demandée une couverture ils nous ont catégoriquement dit non. La chambre n’était pas prête à notre arrivée nous avons dû attendre 45 min de plus que l’heure que nous pouvions rentrer. Nous sommes habitué d’y aller mais je ne crois pas que je vais y retourner avec le service que nous avons eu

The staff was all very friendly. Hotel is under renovation and they did a good job of not doing construction while we were in our room (or we didnt hear them at least) Our room was nice and big but they are rushing for sure..paint was literally on everything..headboard,couch, floors. Lots of parking was nice and walking distance to a grocery store. Short drive to everything only a few minutes from Ottawa.
