Really enjoyed our stay. Our kids loved it! Rooms were cozy and a little dated but the pool was amazing and made up for it. I would book again for sure!

This is definitely not an updated property. Our first room was not good at all. It smelled terrible, and was dirty. I even went and bought my own pillows and blankets as well as air freshners. They did upgrade us to a larger room for the remainder of our stay because we were already paid through the next two nights. Its not somewhere I will stay again.

hotel was locates right on the brook of the river. brook was loacated right off the back balcony of the room. cabin like room with large beds. great outdoor pool. only blocks off the main entertainment street.

We really enjoyed our stay at Brookside. This is an older property, but the room was nice and we found it very comfy. We had "queen" beds but they were the smallest queen beds we've seen. Mattresses were very soft, which is just a preference issue. There were three different bears on the property the week we were there, which was a bit disconcerting, but it's the mountains -- you can see bears! Your excitement about this will determine whether or not this property is for you. The staff were uniformly kind and excellent to work with. Having stayed at several Gatlinburg properties, when Brookside is a good value proposition in comparison to similar motels, it's a very good choice. We'll likely come back!
