The property is beautiful and the cabins/units are gorgeous as well. Staff members are very courteous and welcoming. I love the convenience of having a small store, a restaurant and so many available activities for the family. Was a bit disappointed that I had to figure this out on my own and no one actually informed me of the amenities or activities that were available during my stay. Despite the lack of information/communication, we explored and enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed our stay at the resort. The room was spacious and was perfect for the family. Our only issue was the people above us sounded like elephants and made very loud noises waking us up very early. The property was clean and everyone was very friendly. They have a shuttle which is fantastic and very convenient. My boys really enjoyed the mini golf and pool amenities.

y overall stay was excellent, but the pricing was not a great value once all the additional fees were factored in. The $103 resort fee, along with the $35 per adult and $25 per child a day charge for the water park, was an unexpected expense. While I’m sure it was in the fine print, I assumed that since the hotel is advertised as a water park resort, access to the water park would be included in the stay. I generally felt safe during my visit, except for one interaction that left me uneasy. I was asked whether my husband was with me and if my friend’s husband was accompanying her. In hindsight, I realized I had shared personal information with a complete stranger—all in the name of a timeshare sales pitch. While I understand this is part of their sales strategy, I don’t think guests should be asked such personal questions, especially when they are already paying to stay. If I had come expecting a timeshare presentation in exchange for a free trip, that would be different. Otherwise, I could have stayed at a nearby hotel or cabin for a better price. That said, the staff I interacted with were excellent. My review is not a reflection of them, as they were simply doing what they were trained to do. However, for safety reasons, I believe the hotel should reconsider this approach.

The room was very large and worked for my family of 5 but we had issues. We asked for cribs and where given 2 playards full lf old baby snacks that we had to clean them. I asked to change because they put us on the 3rd floor with 1 year old twins. We were moved to a room that had so many bugs EVERYWHERE. I called to have us switched right back to the old room. I have never seen a hotel rool with roaches, lady bugs ect everywhere that room had not been ckeaned for months. The manager did move us back to our original room them gave us a credit but i couldnt sleep thinkinh bugs were on me. Another thing we spent 1100 on our reservation and the water park was not included. Just to sit and watch my daughter i had to pay 40. How do you pay over a 1000 and still have to pay for the water park which was why i originally booked. I didnt have a good experience and i was shocked considering this hotel is highly rated.

No smoking in rooms rule not enforced

We loved the place; it was perfect for a family trip. Unfortunately, there were guests staying in our building who were smoking (not cigarettes), and the smoke was seeping into our room. We reported the issue to the front desk, and they sent security, but they were unable to address the situation because, as they explained, they couldn’t see anyone smoking. If the resort promotes itself as a non-smoking establishment, they really need to enforce their rules. We had to stay in our room all night because the smell was unbearable. This took all our joy away.

My room had no ac on the first night, the second night there was a storm, and a ton of water came through the door seal. Enough water came in to soak through my son’s backpack and get all his clothes and Nintendo switch wet. The bathroom sink would fill to the top before I was done brushing my teeth then slowly drain out once water was turned off. The room and view were really nice, but it’s had poor upkeep. I was compensated my resort fee so far which I don’t feel is enough for the problems the room had. We will see what their corporate office says, I hope they make it right.
