First time staying at a resort and we had such a good time. Currently the indoor waterpark is under construction and having a young kiddo made the water park very restricted for what she could do. But the room was clean and it was so nice to get away from home! We got placed on the fifth floor and the view was very nice!

Room was clean and beds were good to our standards. Room amenities worked, staff was helpful in anyway we needed. We stayed at stone hill which is across the road from waterpark, that was the day 1 just arrived confusion of whole trip. Inflation made food prices not friendly but we understand the economic times we are in. Shuttle bus was a very good bonus and great drivers to pick you up and take you to the park, that was great. Water at park could be warmer in our opinion.

There was no hot water in the sink. When the water knob turns, no water came out. TV color was so distorted it was difficult to watch TV. The floor tile was sticky and disgusting. There was broken glass on the patio.

Very poor rooms for the price customer service at the front desk was not very accommodating. I asked to be switched our rooms. It took more than half of the day to get everything moved over a mess two days at the waterpark altogether I was given only a $60 refund and then given a $50 credit to use at the arcade for my kids which the gift card did not work Call to speak with upper management. They were extremely rude laughed and said I was trying to just get something for free which is totally not the case. I just didn’t want to pay over $400 for Services that the room was nasty. The shower was completely un accessible due to , the curtain falling out of the sheet rock was asked to move to a different room and then I had to wait about two hours to be able to be moved. Then the water would not cut on in the second room at all for the shower and then once it cut on, it would not cut off , totally unacceptable for this type of resort have been there many times in the past for numerous children’s birthdays to celebrate this was also for my son’s 13th birthday and it was a horrible experience ended up missing both days of the waterpark and be able to enjoy it with him due to issues the hotel had then when I asked for a refund I might be able to stay an extra night they had availability so then when I asked another manager about it, he scoffed and said to another employee over the CB radio that I was just looking to get something for free and he didn’t have time for me

It was fall break and the kids were excited to get away for a local getaway. We booked the Stone Hill Lodge despite the high $200 a night cost. Checkin went okay and we were excited to get to our room and unload our belongings and head to the indoor waterpark. Our double queen room on the third floor was convenient enough, but our excitement ended there. Upon entering the room, we felt like we were entering a dark cave. The room was very dated and worn, and was obvious it had not been updated in many years. After a more careful inspection, we were disappointed in the lack of cleaning and care performed by the Stone Hill staff. The room was a disaster! The sheets were filthy, the curtains had large rips and tears, the carpets stained, the lamp shades had stains, the phone was horribly sticky and unclean, and the HVAC system was filthy and clogged with dust! 30 minutes with the FD agent explaining the situation and showing her the pictures we had of the room, they finally agreed to send back maintenance and housekeeping to address the issues. We came back to the hotel after an hour and a half and stopped by the FD to inquire about the status of our room. The agent stated that the issues had been taken care of and that maintenance and housekeeping along with the manager had inspected the room and it was ready to go. NOT true! No manager was ever there! No maintenance guy! Only the sheets were changed. Do not stay here!
