No hassle checkin. At 1:30 am it was perfect. We had prepaid. Within 5 - 10 mins of our arrival we were in our room. Staff was friendly and the service was great. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. There were 2 free bottles of still water and the bathroom was clean. The room was small but adequate for our needs. We would stay there again.

It was so close to the departure areas of Gatwick airport we just wheeled our luggage to the shuttle and the terminal we needed at 6 in the morning. We also ate with a 20% discount an evening meal the night before our departure. It was very compact but very clean and comfortable for us.

Great 1 st stay and I will be back .

I have just stayed at the Bloc hotel Gatwick for the very first time and it certainly won’t be my last . From The correspondence I received before hand, in relation to some questions I had to the friendly and informative greeting I had when I checked in it was all faultless . My room was clean a good size I appreciated the drinks station and the water in the room, the discounted rates offered in some of the restaurants / coffee places and again enjoyed an informative conversation with the young member of staff , again giving me some great tips and advice . I know some people have commented on the bathroom. Yes it’s like a wet room but modern and one of the best showers for heat and power I’ve had it . Thank you Block hotel Gatwick . I will be back

Staff were great at check in. Room was great for a solo traveller. Great views of the planes taking off which was great an aviation enthusiast. Only downside was the fire alarm being sounded twice. No fault of the hotel. Not ideal for an early flight but the staff were very professional and dealt with the situation well before letting guests back in.

I felt really comfortable staying here! Great before my flight the next morning. I thought being able to control the lights with your phone was SO COOL! Bed was comfy. I was tripped out by the toilet and the shower being in the same area, but I heard that’s common. Regardless, it was still super comfortable and convenient. Will be staying here again!
