Clean and quiet property. Breakfast room only opens at 8am so didn't wait for it to open and got breakfast elsewhere. Overall a comfortable place to stay at a good price.

Overall a lovely stay at the hotel just needs a lot of maintenance nothing like the photos on line. The stairs were not accessible on on both sides of hotel would be nice to be notified and given a choice. comfy beds and staff were lovely..

Manager has a superior attitude. I'm sure the rest of the staff are fine but in 50 years of staying in motels/hotels for over 30 nights a year iI have never encountered anything like I did at this Motel.

There’s Better!

Greeting on arrival not friendly - felt rushed and disinterested in answering enquiries of the local area. Rooms were of a basic standard. Pool was filthy - wouldn’t dip my toe in it - and we were there in summer during a heatwave. Didn’t look like it had been cleaned for quite a while. A very ordinary stay.

Room was spacious and clean. The room was on the ground floor backing the main road and was noisy in the evening and early morning. The pool was dirty and unusable which was a disappointment as the weather was warm. The location of the hotel was quite good as it was about a ten minute walk to the town centre and a further five minute walk to the water. The price for two nights, including breakfast, was very reasonable. Staff were nice.

Ok for a stop over

If you’re looking for a no frills overnight stay that gets the job done then this place is ok. It’s very much an older style motel that does need a spruce up. The room we stayed in was functional and had comfortable beds, but as for the decor and bathroom well as an eighties child it did bring back memories!

Maintenance needed

Have stayed here many times and usually pretty good. This visit was a little disappointing but the bed was comfortable. The television channels were on the tv but not all working. The fridge is quite small and can’t fit much in it. The microwave hadn’t been cleaned and the bench hadn’t been wiped down. Electrical fittings near the front door wasn’t flush against the wall and was loose.

Not a fan of showers over baths. Stepping in/out when grab rails aren't provided can be tricky on wet surfaces. No air con or fan in main bedroom either.
