A Little Gem

A little Gem, a diamond in the rough. Older motel yet renovated with hard floors, mattresses, TVs etc. service oriented and a great variety of breakfast options from waffles, rolls, bagels and juices, etc. Very accommodating. Would recommend and stay again. Don’t believe the negativity in the few reviews.

although property appeared dated the room was very clean- had everything we needed-nice fridge, ironing board, coffee maker- great TV- convenient to everything and easy to get to and park- doors opening & closing were loud - especially at night - did not eat the breakfast so can’t comment on that but like that it started early as we are early risers

This place should be shut down construction materials all around outside and inside it looks like totally gutted smoke detectors were covered up did not feel safe so we left and did not check in

Some advise...

Wood floors need to be cleaned with something like a wet mop a Swifter. Socks were dirty from floor. Need to update breakfast. Cold hard-boiled eggs don't make it.

I slowest bath drain ever. Bathtub was slippery, I almost fell getting for a shower. Paint and plaster loose on the ceiling directly above the head of the best. I stood in ankle deep water while showering. The breakfast area was good and easy to access. The room was clean and overall in good condition.

After staying in a ridiculous bed and breakfast, this was a relief. Clean, quiet, simply but nicely furnished, the check-in staff was very friendly, and the price definitely was right.
