Fine stay for the price

The location is very convenient and quiet, I liked the balcony facing the river. Check in was quick and courteous. Hotel itself needs an update, very old and worn out. Our fireplace was not working, the toilet had issues with flushing and a burned out lightbulb. We mentioned it at checkout but were told that if we stay in the right wing of the hotel the rooms are better although more expensive. Didn’t have a way to confirm that.

Rockie mountain getaway

Loved being on the river and seeing the boats go by, it inspired us to float also which was a blast. Quiet at night, great for walking around town. Safeway close by and many restaurants.

The place has a charming but strange vibe. This cowboy fella behind the desk helped us get into a room the we had accidentally reserved for the following day at 2am. It was very nice to get us wary travelers off the interstate and into a comfy bed overlooking the beautiful river. Thanks Argo Inn

Quiet and cozy mountain get away spot with friendly staff and access to Clear Creek. A very peaceful stay in walking/short-driving distance to many restaurants, historic attractions, and the healing Indian Hot Springs. Thank you for helping create a relaxing space to celebrate my mom’s birthday!

A happy repeat customer

I always stay at the Argo when I’m in Idaho Springs. My room had a noisy bathroom fan and the office changed the room immediately. The mattress was new and very comfortable. It is quiet here. I will return.

Just a quick stop on our way to Moab. Friendly staff. Room was fine. View out back slider was pretty. Walkable to food.
