Irät was the worst hotel I have ever stayed. They made me stand in front of the door for a long time in cold, and when I called them he said i still need to get up and get dressed. Then he hung up on me. Terrible front desk service

We enjoyed our stay for the couple of days we were there. Staff is friendly we had a very nice view of the river bed it’s nice and quiet and we had a pleasant encounter with a raven. Rooms overall were decent but very clean.

Nice people but hotel rooms need work
Front desk person was great, very friendly and provided recommendations on where to eat and things to do. Unfortunately, the same could not be said for the hotel room. While clean, the room was very dated bordering on shabby. One of drawers had a hole at the bottom allowing items to fall through. Mattresses need replacement and felt like sleeping on a block of wood, same with pillows. Furniture and floor were both cracked. Wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling. Hot water, while there was plenty of it, was temperamental. The furnace was gas and very finicky-we either froze or sweated-there did not appear to be a happy medium. The coffee maker was broken, and the hotel did not provide any type of breakfast.

We were able to park right in front of our unit on the first floor, which had a balcony overlooking the creek - very nice! Beds were very comfortable. The recommendation to walk the path along the creek was perfect - took us on a round trip 1.5-2 mile stroll all the way downtown and back, passing right by the Argo Mine. Solid place to stay, older rooms, but towels and bed, bedding were great. Very courteous and attentive front desk staff to help with suggestions for our stay. Thank you!

A decent stay.
Big, odd shape room with mining decor. Clean and a bit worn but servicable. Amateur repairs to walls, ceiling. River access and patio was great. Coffee but No breakfast.

While the room was clean and comfortably furnished, we found the bed very uncomfortable. When we arrived the evening desk clerk was frankly scary appearing/unkept and not pleasant. We had asked for a room on the ground level and/or close to an elevator as I am unable to walk far or climb stairs. We had been given a third floor room with out an elevator. I indicated to him I had made my request when we booked and he said it wasn't there. Interestingly he reread the booking and conveniently threw away a page of the booking as we stood there. I did go back into my booking and the request was there. He was able to get us into a first floor room- said they were all the same price anyway- which I don't think is correct but at that point we just needed to get a room. Doubt we will ever stay her again as we travel thru.

Good enough but won't return.
Conveniently located to main downtown area. Easy to find, check in and getting to room was easy. It is an older hotel, could certainly use some updating but bed was comfortable which was a big plus, had hot water and heat so not terrible. I wouldn't stay there again though.

Beautiful property and very reasonably priced! The layout of the property is just adorable and well taken care of. Lots of paths and places to sit outside and spend time. Gorgeous views of the mountains and clear creek:) would absolutely love to stay here again!
