Lobby was nice and clean but the room was not clean, when we took a shower the water backed up, dirty carpet, cracked tiles in the bathroom. The bed was not comfortable, felt the springs while we slept. We were told we didn’t have a microwave in the room because it wasn’t in the kind of room we booked. I thought microwaves were standard in all rooms.

Property too close to the Public Road and extremely noisy. Dining area is above and close to the rooms and also very noisy with guests and staff. Price is expensive for this hotel. Staff were great.

The staff was friendly from the moment I arrived to the moment I left. The service was great and came with a smile. The food from Flavours of Guyana was extremely tasty as was the breakfast the following day. I would come back and recommend this hotel.

Safe, classy, convenient

Best place to stay in Guyana not far from Georgetown. Good food. Good service. Just room service tends to be slower than we would prefer. But, everyone is kind and cares about their work. It is clean. Nice ambiance. Safe. Convenient especially with delicious food onsite and the mall nearby, too. Mathew, Jamal and David were all employees that made our stay even more special. Also best omelet ever at the brunch the day we were there.

Family Christmas Vacation

We had a wonderful time at the Grand Coastal Hotel. Beautiful Atmosphere and well decorated for Christmas. Our servers were more than willing to accomodate us. Especially Kevin. Tamika and David. We Thank Kevin who was part of the security. We were always safe and was always willing to help with any of our needs. Collin the Manager was extraordinary , He was always there if we needed anything. He checked on us all the time. Overall a great experience for my daughters first time in Guyana. The food was amazing and our family enjoyed our stay here. We will for sure be returning guests.

Staff at check in needs to be more attentive to guest and act alive, not just hello. Need to be more proactive when guests arrive with large luggage and ask if assistance is need, not to wait for guest to ask. Overall the stay was average, understanding there is construction going on.

The property gave is a room by the main road, which was extremely noisy. In addition, 4 out of the 8 days we were there, the property did construction above our room., All day long there was hammering and drilling. There was no relaxed quiet time. I couldn't read a book. I complained to the manager and he did nothing to aid. We asked for a different room away from the noise and he did not accommodate us at all nor did we receive any complimentary services. I was so mad the entire trip.
