Simple and straightforward, no frills lodging in Idaho Springs. Easily walkable to the Argo Mill and Miner St. shops and restaurants. Check-in was easy and fast. Great value for a mountain town. I will stay here again when I return to Idaho Springs.

Room had a strong smell of disinfectant upon arrival, shower was slippery and difficult to use, large spider found in tub during stay. A very old hotel and I won't stay there again.

Very good location but lacked investment. Water was dripping from the vanity unit and draining through cracks in the floor. Air conditioning was very noisy.

The pictures make it look better than it is. Bed was very hard. I was supposed to get a king room and if it was it was the smallest king bed I have seen. Also it is priced like a much better hotel. Check in was fast and the gentleman that checked me in was very friendly.

Didn’t like anything. No screens on windows which were dirty and old. Very strong and unpleasant smell of a cleaning product. Not enough hooks/racks for towels. Clock that doesn’t work. Cramped room. Cramped parking and had to back out the whole way.

The room itself was fantastic Note for Housekeeping the bathroom needed a thorough hazmat redux. The floor and the toilet showed signs of somebody having accidents with dark spots on side of toilet and floor and strong urine smell. It's set in a nice area and can walk easily to find food and or grocery.

Spacious but dirty

We stayed for a week while having work done on our home. The things we liked: the easily walkable location, the size of the room and that it was pretty quiet, and the private entrance. What we didn't like was that it was filthy. I spilled water and went to wipe it up with a towel and the towel turned BROWN. The grout in the bathroom was pure dirt. Im not sure they ever wash the floors, it seems as though they just sweep. We will never stay here again and we will certainly not recommend this to family, friends or other travelers.

We stayed one night and it's good enough for that, but I wouldn't stay again. The bed was so hard, that my arms kept falling asleep when I tried to lie on my side. No extra pillows and the air conditioner....either had to have it on or it would turn on and off constantly on auto.
