This Inn in Gettysburg Pennsylvania is one of my best 2 night weekend stays that I’ve ever experienced. Clean rooms, comfortable bed, updated bathroom with marble countertops with tile floor, and hard wood floors in the room (no carpet thankfully!) Individual heat/and a/c wonderful. And as a 50 year old man, the breakfast buffet which is included was phenomenal!!! Scrambled eggs, fried eggs, hash browns, fresh fruit, chipped beef and gravy, sausage gravy, pancake creator, coffee, cereals of all kinds, orange juice, cinnamon and sugar, butter, toast, English muffins, and on and on…And the kitchen staff, desk staff, cleaning personnel, and everyone were kind, considerate and polite. This is definitely a hotel/Inn that I would recommend to anyone. I give it 5 out of 5 stars!!! Amazing!!!

Room was spotless, bathroom spotless and bed extremely comfortable. And can't say enough about staff at desk, both evening and morning... were phenomenal. Also, for being fully booked, the INN was quiet making for a nice night sleep.... Breakfast also very good.

Nice and clean room. Nice furnishings and comfortable beds. Well heated room and great view of Gettysburg from our 4th floor front facing room. One elevator was out and other elevator was slow but lots of easy to climb stairways. And free breakfast was great! Enjoyed our stay!

A very nice place to stay. The room was very clean, comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was excellent. Its directly across from a great Irish pub with great food. Definitely worth the price and a bargain in todays world.

I would leave 0 stars if I could. No smoking room but smelt terribly of smoke. The sheets were dirty with stuff that looked like old blood. The clerks clearly don’t care about their jobs or people who stay there. I will never come here again

Staff was very nice and the room was clean. I was next to the elevator, which was meh, but there was very little activity between 10pm-8am. I have been to this location before and look forward to returning after the renovations (currently happening) are completed.

My stay was fine. My room (414) was very basic with no frills. It was clean with plenty of space and towels. However, there was no microwave, ironing board, or iron. (which I like to have) The breakfast buffet had a good variety of choices with plenty of seating. My one complaint is that someone called the hotel asking if I was staying there and the hotel told the person I was staying there and even gave out the time that I checked out. The person who called the hotel was NOT told where I was staying. This person was calling around to all the hotels to find me. This is very unprofessional, and dangerous because the hotel had no idea who was asking for this information. I'm not even sure this is legal for them to do. I suggest that the hotel not do this in the future. I will be calling management about this.

Staff is always attentive and make your check in easy. Room was recently renovated and clean. Easy access to restaurants, attractions. Very walkable, lots of parking. I have stayed at 1863 10 plus times and will be returning. Have never had a bad experience.
