This was by far the worst hotel experience. The customer service was horrible, the room had a few roaches where I had to kill and clean up. The floors were dirty and my room card kept getting deactivated. It was a horrible experience and will never stay here again.

Details are important, so lets deal with that first. I didn't see any garden oasis. But I did see some kind of vegetative growth, behind a picket fence, but I don't know what it was. No Continental breakfast was offered, but I saw an empty space where it was offered in the past, and I didn't see any onsite fitness center, but there may have been one in the past. Yes, there is free WiFi, but the coverage was very spotty with constant buffering and latency. The room I chose said there was a mountain view. I assumed it was something more picturesque. It is actually some miles away. It basically means your room is in the back of the motel, away from the road. Which is a good thing. The motel is right off the highway, away from things, so there's not much around. There is a nice flea market right behind, and about 2 miles down the same road, the Red Rooster Pizzeria, which has awesome cheesesteaks. When I first pulled up, there were no cars in front and I thought it was no longer in business, but it is, and cars showed up later. It is an old motel, needs some TLC, but my room was pretty clean and smelled just fine. A major complaint- the 9 watt LCD bulb prevented me from being able to read and write, so I couldn't work. The TV is small, and for some reason the picture is much smaller. Make no mistake, This is a no-frills, bare-bones place to stay, and at least in October it was a quiet place. But, I was satisfied, and I would come back. I actually ended up staying an extra night.

First room the card would not open the door, so they said to come in to the desk, and they would open the door when we needed in. I was staying three days, im not doing this. Second room had no heat or AC. NOT GOOD

Property was well kept up and clean, but the towels and some sheets had stains in them which was gross,one towel looked like lip stick. The couch as well had some stains on them as. Would I use this Hotel again? Very likely close to the Interstate as well as gas station

Good for a night or two.

This place is great if you need just a night or two in town, while not the prettiest of places I’ve never had an issue with bugs or anything like that. And it’s the cheapest place around. You get what you pay for. I find the staff friendly and have never had any types of problems with them.

Nice hotel, near downtown Shippensburg. The staff are friendly. Had a problem with the room key, the lady at the front desk fixed that without any hassel.
