The property was better than expected for an inexpensive night. However, the description indicated (and the receptionist verified) that there would be breakfast at 6 AM. At 6 AM, the breakfast room was dark and locked. At 6:10, I departed, since there was no indication that anything was happening, or likely to happen.

So we had checked into the red lion there AC in the hall motel was not working and my husband passed out and ended up in ICU. I called the Alamo talked with Carrie when we got to the Alamo she had went above and beyond she had a room ready and waiting for us early and she had the AC on and running in our room for my husband, even though he didn’t get to enjoy it because he was in ICU, but her thoughtfulness was above and beyond and had also reached out and said anybody else in our party because we were there for a benefit for my husband, she had rooms for them all. And yes, some of our guests did check in and were very satisfied. I would definitely stay at the Alamo again.

The property did not have enough parking. The bThroom was started cleaning then left unfinished and rather gross. Poorly lit parking and the feeling of an unsafe location

Bathroom toilet paper holder fell off the wall. Shower curtain let water run onto bathroom floor. Moldy spot on ceiling. Breakfast supposed to start at 6AM. Door was locked at 6AM.
