The hotel was very well organized for late arrival which was great.
The room was average, but the mattress was quite uncomfortable.
Breakfast was not at all attractive: little choice, unappetizing pastries, coffee in canteen thermoses… it wasn’t worth the price…
The electric charging station was not working.
Overall, it was just okay for a one night stay on my way to my final destination but a working charging station would have been welcome
We just like staying here on our trips to south of France.
Lovely location, great property, friendly staff and excellent food.
Have stopped there twice, and will look to stay again next year.
Having stayed at L’Orée des Vignes for about 10 years we were looking forward to stay again as it is halfway on our journey from the UK to Italy and we didn’t expect any changes.
The first problem arose when we expected to pay the remainder when we arrived. We didn’t recognise any of the management who told us they had not received the deposit so we would have to pay the full amount. Then when we were shown to our room it had only a double bed and a temporary small temporary bed. We told them we had requested a twin bedded room but they denied any notice of this. We then showed them a copy of our request and they said they had not received this. They said they could do nothing about this as the hotel was full. They suggested using the smaller bed which in fact appeared to have been used also there were some hairs on the sheets. Then the shower was blocked so the water drained away very slowly.
We now assumed that there had been a change in the management and the young lady who seemed to be in charge treated us almost with contempt.
Before you needed a number to enter both the hotel and car park after 10 pm so you felt more secure, but not any more.
It appears there must have been a breakdown in communication between the hotel and Hotels.com as the description of the rooms was quite different between the
hotel and Hotels.com.
We certainly will not be staying there in the future and would not recommend it to anyone.
The hotel was very nice. The restaurant left something to be desired. Plan ahead to eat better elsewhere.

The hotel is very modern with a n efficient and friendly receptionist, who was very helpful at sharing contacts for local restaurants. The hotel seems popular as a conference venue.
Our room was spotlessly clean with good bed and shower.
There was plenty of safe off street parking and 2 EV chargers. You need to ask for the carpark gate code if you go out for an evening meal!!
We traveled with 2 small dogs and they were welcomed.

The room is fine and comfortable. The restaurant is pretty good. However, a staff member used her key to go into our room when we were inside without knocking. We checked out and realized that we were charged twice on our card. They charged our card on file when we checked in, and we didn’t realize that, and they asked us to pay at checkout as well.
The hotel is very quiet and rooms are clean. Linens were super clean also, the staff helpful.
It's situated between Nuits-Saint-Georges and Gevrey-Chambertin, very practical location if you're around there to enjoy some wine tasting.
I stayed here for 3 nights on a business trip and found it to be a delightful and charming hotel. The grounds are beautiful with an inner courtyard filled with flowers and grapevines. My queen bedroom was small but comfortable. The bathroom was actually quite large, and everything was spotlessly clean. Service is professional, but not overly friendly. Parking is free and they have a security code to gain access to the hotel in the late evenings. Breakfast was 13 euros and OK — a basic continental with no hot food on the buffet. The best part of the hotel is the location. It is very close to the famous vineyards of Romanee Conti and La Tache, with lots of walking trails. Also very close to Clos de Voguet, which is a nice museum to visit.
Good value for money, specially for large families
The room was nice - no complains. We made a brief stop here on our way back to Belgium. Clearly can recommend this hotel for a stop by. The room was bigger than anticipated with a nice layout.
The location is fine a small town with supermarkets nearby

Great little hotel, easy to find selection of hot and cold drinks available all well priced.Very pretty village with walking area for a very stiff dog after 8 hours driving.Good breakfast, regular stop over for us now.
Quiet village hotel. Good stopping off point. We spent two nights there. Very convenient for exploring vineyards. Staff friendly and helpful. Simple French country hotel. Will use hotel, again when traveling through. Secure parking.
