If it was slightly cheaper, I’d say’ cheap and cheerful’ Friendly staff, quite noisy with logging trucks passing by from the early hours. Overall it served its purpose.

Booked online , upon arrival the receptionist was less than impressed that we did this and told us that our room would be the closest to the road , not a drama as we had saved $100 on the walk in price ! The room was tidy and the bed was great , the toilet door was hanging by one slider and was impossible to close and traffic noise was tolerable, just ! Not the worst stay however next time in Gisbourne we will be staying elsewhere
