Staff were amazing!

Hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of Glasgow and surrounded by many amazing restaurants and bars. 4th time staying here and staff were amazing as always! We had an issue with an aircon leak detector alarm going off at 3:30 am and the staff on the front desk came up and sorted it very promptly. Following day they had organised a different room and moved our luggage for us. These things happen and staff handled it perfectly. Thanks for another great stay. We will be back soon!

We checked in and were allocated a room on the 5th floor. This was not suitable and we were relocated to a suite on the 1st floor. The room was beautiful. The problem started at 7pm. The room was directly above the function suite. The noise was so loud we could hear the tv. This went on till midnight. We rang reception but were told we could not be moved as the hotel was full. We spoke to reception to voice our concerns the next morning. We found out we should have been made aware of noise when we were allocated this room. If we had known this we would have opted for another room. Spoiled our stay. We usually enjoy staying here. This is preferred hotel in Glasgow. Disappointed as always have a great stay here.

The area was centrally located, lots of restaurants and shopping walkable, easy access to trains to visit other parts of Scotland. A little noisy in my son's room due to pubs below his room. No drop off area in front of the hotel, taxi lane, making it difficult to unpack items and luggage. Overall beautiful hotel and awesome staff that were extremely helpful with our specific situation and needs.
