Great location, quirky style

Perfect city centre hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Style is contemporary and quirky, reflective of the famous local landmarks. I'd definitely stay here again when visiting Glasgow.

Great Merchant City Hotel

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. From the warm and friendly welcome at Reception to the modest but helpful facilities in the restaurant and bar. Complimentary hot drinks and water filler in lounge , free pool table, limited but tasty and good value menu from soup and sandwiches to hot options like curry, lasange and Mac Cheese. The room was a bit small, but bed huge, and aircom great. A fantastic budget option with great facilities.

Very nice!

Stayed in Glasgow for two days, after spending three days in the highlands. In terms of the hotel, it’s about as central as central gets. It’s decorated to a high contemporary style and the bathroom is probably one of the best I’ve ever had - it’s huge and very Scandinavian in style.
