The room was ok but in need of update as pelmet was missing - ingrained dirt in corners and walls - shower tap was broken and hair dryer did not work
The room was noisy - next to top of stairs and door banged and squeaked all night and then housekeeping staff made a lot of noise in the morning- we had no sleep !!
Staff were pleasant we were not offered any VIP extras at check in and when I later queried bottle of wine - was told bar was closed
As one extra was a room upgrade - I feel we actually had worse room in hotel !!
Breakfast was average but there was a vagrant man asleep on the seats towards the back of restaurant- this was not ideal !
This is not our first stay at this hotel and won’t be our last. Always a warm welcome and excellent service, rooms are very comfortable and clean. The online check in is wonderful and such a time saver. Great wee hotel
Room was in need of an upgrade. Very dated. Carpet was dirty, bath had 2 big chips in it, tv covered in dust. Window filthy.
No soundproofing, could hear Nextdoor talking.
Only issue we had was key card lock did not work but as we arrived late evening and were only staying the one night the deadbolt was sufficient. Issue was reported to front desk in the morning.

We stayed for one night, hotel was adequate for what we needed,
Everything was good except for the restaurant service. Long waits between orders at evening meal . Ice cream was melting by the time we received it. Only blackcurrant and apricot jams at breakfast.
Affordable place. I didn't get service in my hotel, although i did get towels when i asked. Am not sure if i had to ask or if I just didn't get it. But decent breakfast and good stay for the low price
Room was worth the £60 we paid for it but I'd have been disappointed if we were charged much more. The shower/bath mixer just didn’t work properly and the floor as you walked into the room seems to have given way and squeaked very badly which meant when someone went to the toilet during the night it woke the other person up. Mattresses could do with being renewed, in general the room could be doing with a refurbish but as I said it was worth what we paid.
