We booked a table online for dinner at 8.30pm. We’d planned to grab a cocktail first and have a nice meal. When we turned up we were told to hurry and order our food as the kitchen closes at 9 and the last order was 8.45. This is crazy early for a Saturday evening. Also why are you taking bookings at 8.30 then rushing your guests? We were really looking forward to this only to be hugely disappointed. We have stayed on many Malmaison hotels without any issues

Really great stay! The room was nice - there were stains on the bed throw which you wouldnt expect in the Malmaison. Stayed in room 456. The shower products were so nice, as were the staff on reception and the bar! Thanks, Charlotte

Turn the lights on!
Can't read the menu in the restaurant because it's so dark. Loopy high menu prices which weren't worth it. City centre hotel bar prices, but the parking fees!!! Wow. Even in the multi storey down the very steep hill, it was £50 for only just over 24 hrs.

A classic now and perhaps could do with a little updating. Initially the room I was in was rather dark - but that’s the ‘vibe’ apparently - and also there was no fridge which seems unusual these days for a hotel at this price level, but the reception team informed me they were in the process of changing the fridges around and also offered me an upgrade at no extra cost to a lighter room with a mini bar fridge, at no extra cost which was much appreciated.

There's currently a lot of building work at the moment - not the hotel's fault obviously - but it took us a long time going round in circles trying to navigate closed roads and the one-way system. Maybe a note to advise of the best approach until it is over. The staff were lovely.

The hotel staff were helpful from check in and the kind and courteous attitude continued. The hotel is well placed in the city, near the station and Sauchiehall street. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, Carolina in the dining room was excellent, the bar and dining staff were courteous and friendly. The reception staff were helpful with advice about the City and transport. If we come to the city again we would be more likely to return to the Malmaison. Thanks folks
