Slightly dissatisfied

When I arrived on Sunday night, I was greeted by reception rather abruptly. I showed the receptionist my booking on Hotels.com and I was more or less challenged about my reservation. Whether this is something to do with communication between Hotels.com and the hotel I’m unsure, however to be greeted in such a fashion was not very pleasant. He told me that it was for the night before when it was clearly evident that I had booked the Sunday night staying until Monday morning. He still couldn’t find my reservation so I was passed to a manager who asked to see my email confirmation which told exactly the same information. Would I stay there again based on the way I was greeted? Probably not, as there are plenty of other hotels nearby. Reception did not even progress to ask whether I wanted to breakfast, but why should I give the hotel more money at this point?

Not worth it. Look elsewhere.

Check in at the bar was very unpleasant. I was told my room had a small fridge but it did not. They offered to keep my medication in the bar. I was given a room for handicapped even though that's not what I wanted. The bed was pulled out and made in the livingroom which was so heavy I couldn't even lift it. I wanted a suite to have a place so I would have a place to sit. The bathroom was just gross with mold in the tile. Very disappointed in Marriott. I had much higher expecctations.
