Staff was friendly and helpful. Coffee was amazing, better than any cafes I've had up to the point in London, Bath. Only 1 cafe in Liverpool was on par and I'm quite a coffee snob.
Comfy room with ample amenities and welcome snacks. Bed was sufficient and huge. Thankful that there's fan.
Gym was small but had sufficient equipment to do the bare minimum.
If you're driving here, you might need to park at charing cross and get your ticket validated. There's so much construction going on here.
Highly recommend Sarti (Italian restaurant) that's 10 mins walk nearby. The best Italian we've had.
Area around the hotel is under major road construction making it difficult to access even by foot. New hotel still working out the processes, the room was great with a nice city view. I enjoyed my stay here.
Awful stay our room was not cleaned when we asked for clean towels and toilet roll the member of staff tutted and rolled her eyes. We were charged £15 per night to park our car and told we could not take it out the car park as we would lose our space but still be charged. The best part of our stay was checking out
We loved the Sandman and the restaurant for our one night stay. Clean, modern hotel, very quiet for the heart of the city.
My only complaint is the extremely limited parking, which with all the construction on, we had difficulty finding and had to remove fallen barriers to enter the lane. With extremely tiny spaces. The hotel mentioned the other park and ride option, off-site, but we couldnt

We didn’t like the high beds because we can’t sit on them because our feet don’t react the floor and we have to crawl to get on it. The shower was a maze to operate. After a 12 hour bus tour we wanted room service but no one answered the phone so I had to go get our soup myself and had to wait half an hour. No one told us how to turn on the lights-we had to phone down. I guess it was just too modern for us!
