Actual breakfast options that are gluten friendly, friendly staff that helped when asked, clean spacious room and despite the hotel getting some renovations done it was still clean and easy to navigate. Absolutely would stay here again!

The property was very clean and staff was great. It seems the property has been undergoing a remodel, and the rooms were not quite ready for guests. There we no hangers in the closet space, a suitcase/travel bag stand would have been great too, no place to set the toilet paper in the bathroom, the wall mount blow dryer was not mounted, just laying under the sink, and I had to move the microwave to plug it in and use it. No coffee pot in room either. Otherwise everything was very clean and quiet.

Room was clean and comfortable. Check in girl was not friendly and acted as if we were an inconvenience. She was smoking cigarettes outside (near the front door) and talking on the phone between each customer check in. Whatever she had going on seemed much more important than the customers. She even went as far as to let us know that the hotel did not have the amenities that were advertised and was under construction. No hand or body soap in the bathroom. Two towels available for a 4 person room. Breakfast left a lot to be desired, for a hotel with a premium price attached.

I would not recommend the Astoria hotel to anyone. They are remodeling. I understand that. The room I got looked nice when I walked in. There was no coffee pot no hair blow dryer no soap to wash my hands in the bathroom no toilet paper holder and no ice bucket. When I asked about the blow dryer, the girl at the front desk told me there’s a store down the road. I checked out a day early and told them I wanted a refund for the day I was not staying. The lady at the counter told me she could not issue the refund. It would have to be the manager. She said the manager would do it when she got in Saturday morning. I told her to be sure I get an email with the refund information. I still have not got any information from them. I do intend to keep calling them until I get it. Oh, in the shower, barely trickled as water came out the showerhead and the faucet. It was not easy taking a shower in that either. I told the girl at the front desk. They should definitely not rent out that room until it is completely done.

One night stay. Toilet didn’t work at all. No one at desk when I went to ask about it. Had to pour water from tub using trash can. Sink was clogged. Door wouldn’t shut unless you used all your strength to lift it to align with frame. TV remote not programmed to TV. Traveled for 30 years. Worst one night experience of my life.

It was being remodeled and it was pretty bad in our room had mold in the shower. It was supposed to have a few of the river if you squinted and look through the old campground behind it you might be it might have been able to see it
