Rooms were clean. Not enough outlets. Some did not work at all. Place was under construction, couldn’t eat in the restaurant because it was filled with smoke from kitchen exhaust failed. We won’t stay again.

All of the staff were very friendly. The food and service at the restaurant were wonderful. Unfortunately the entire property is dated and dirty. There was dirt and hair in every corner, hair in the shower, and a ton of build up behind the beds. I was allergic to the laundry detergent or something, and barely got any sleep because I was itching all over. For the price it wasn’t horrible, but also not great. I would probably choose to stay at the holiday inn next door and walk over for dinner if I was in the area again.

Mostly just fine
The bed was comfortable and appreciated after a long day of driving in the heat. But the low-key throbbing of the A/C was annoying during the night. Breakfast in the dining room was definitely worth it.

Upon entering the motel room it had the worst smell I had ever smelled in my life for a hotel room smells like moldy butter popcorn. The shower head was completely horrible four holes that only put out water and it felt like you were showering underneath the faucet The hotel restaurant on the other hand was very nice The food was excellent

great place to stay overnight
We stopped at Yellowstone River Inn for one night on a long road trip. It was very easy to get to from the interstate. We found it clean and comfortable. While it did not provide a free breakfast, the cafe offered reasonable meals and fast service. Staff were polite and friendly. I would recommend it for travelers for an overnight stop.

Almost there.
I was looking for a cheaper room since my stay was longer than usual and I've been to the Yellowstone before. Great staff and I love that there is a bar and restaurant in the building. Bar service was great as usual and all the food we ordered was wonderful. But there are a few things that keep that 5th star away. It has to be time to replace the towels and washcloths. I had some that were so stained I just couldn't see to use them and exchanged them for some less stained towels and washcloths. I could see outside around the door in Rm. 105 and when we had that big storm on Thursday night, the entry filled with water. And just a personal note: I like a softer matress....mine was so hard. A minor thing might be to repair and refill the vending machines. Kids love getting a little change for snacks late at night. Overall, I enjoy staying there and will again this fall. Thanks for making the experience of Montana a memorable one.

Good place to stay on a budget. No free breakfast but an extremely reasonably priced restaurant on site. Not open 24 hours when we were there, but still operating from 6am-11pm or so, and they might be back to 24 hours at some point. Room was good size, bathroom in good working order. Small dining table and chairs in addition to desk, which was very nice, plus a recliner, making for a comfortable stay at a low price.
