serene stop on a road trip

This is a nicely updated old-fashion motor lodge. Very clean and updated. I enjoyed the pot of hot oatmeal available at the breakfast room.

Very nice room as it was. Getting long in the tooth for carpet, furnishings but clean and neat. Very convenient for the fairgrounds which is what sold us. Good breakfast. Staff was friendly and excellent.

Great customer service. Easy check-in, good breakfast and nice property. The room smelled smokey but it's an old motel. You can tell they take pride in the appearance of the property.

Sink was old and discolored with no stopper and weak water flow. Bathtub shower had good shower head. Nice towels. Adequate electric outlets and lamps. Nice M/W and fridge Overall good value. Depressing downtown location, but appeared safe.

The people were nice. The service was great, and there was an *actual* Continental breakfast (sausage, eggs, coffee, etc) rather than a sad frozen burrito like most motels.
