Staff very friendly and check in was easy. Fees for every thing including parking and pets make this place not really a deal compared to places closer to Glenwood. Room stank like old cigarettes. No free breakfast also very disappointing. Will not stay here again.

You lost a long time customer yesterday because of your employee Rebecca at the front desk who treated me terribly. Patrons in the lobby will attest to her rude behavior, callus attitude and lack of respect towards others. She refused my stay for bringing up the topic of your ridiculous parking fee (which I told her you are not New York City and parking is not a premium. I would be happy to move my vehicle out in the street) she became agitated and raised her voice at me, and after she asked me to leave the property. I asked her if I could use a pen to write down her name and the manager’s name and she threw a pen at me. I will be speaking to my attorney about her assault.

There was a surprise $14/night parking fee to stay in their lot… I wasn’t pleased with the surprise fee. Otherwise the people were friendly and the place is in good shape. Beautiful views.

Many different complaints
This hotel gave me the impression that it’s pinching every penny. We heard and read and knew nothing about a parking fee until we arrived and were told there was a $14/night parking fee. I was also under the impression that breakfast was included, but it was $15/person (so we didn’t eat there). The heater in our room only blew cold air during the winter, so fortunately the front desk had a space heater for us. My boss guest complaint is actually that the hotel doesn’t have blackout curtains - only light-filtering, see-through curtains. Our room overlooked an empty lot and a truck stop, and there were two massive, super-bright lights shining straight onto my face the whole night. The least important complaint might bother someone else the most: there was a dirty pair of socks under the edge of the bed comforter from a previous guest. Other than all of these complaints, the hotel and our stay was fine.

Deceptive business practice
Discovered a surprise $14 parking fee when we checked in. This was a regular asphalt motel parking lot in an area of zero demand. This fee was not represented anywhere on hotels.com website and not included in the total bill indicated on the website when reservation was made. A deceptive business practice. For sure will never stay at that property again and likely not trust hotels.com again

Nice convenient hotel, but their nightly parking fee of $14 to park in a open lot is absurd. This has always been our go-to hotel for our road trips out West, but will shop for other hotels from now on.

It's odd that they charged extra $14/night parking. I paid in advance through Expedia and it did not show parking fee. There're plenty parking space avalaible. Their hotel in the middle of nowhere, surround by many empty land, not like in the center of city. The front desk advised me to park on the street if I want free parking. Bad Customer service. Expedia should show their $14/night parking fee because all customers come with cars.

Grand Disappointment
Well, the reviews for this place were promising, but the end experience was disappointing. It started from the moment I walked in and was advised there was a parking fee… in Paracute…. a parking fee. The parking lot had more than 50% space available and again, this is a 2 star hotel in Parachute. Anyways… the hotel room itself was lacking on everything. As soon as I turned on the lights in my bed side lamps I noticed both lamps had lights that were hanging off and dangling. Surprisingly still worked but yeah, they looked like they were the victim of an intense pillow fight. The bathroom had some hair in it that was there the moment I opened the door. Strike 2. The deadbolt on the door to the room was completely misaligned with the door frame. It was off by a whole inch and getting it to lock was impossible. This place just sucked, entirely. Don't go here.

Simply okay…
Very affordable and catered to our 5 person family. Even provided us a roll-in cot for our 8 year old. Neighboring guests were highly inconsiderate. Barking dog and loud voices at around 5:00 am (thank goodness they only stayed one night. We stayed 3 nights). The beds were terrible. I MEAN TERRIBLE!!! Each night my back felt worse and worse. Beds mean everything. We played all day and struggled to sleep all night.

Did you know they charge $14 per night to park? Gotcha. Breakfast is $15. Gotcha, because there is almost nowhere to eat in Parachute. The Loves truck stop is your best bet for dining.
