The staff was not the least bit welcoming. Not one of the 15 employees we saw said good morning of hello. Would not even make eye contact. There was a ton of tude. Not sure they work in the hospitality industry.

Do yourself a favor don’t stay here.
We came here for our wedding anniversary. We were greeted each morning with the sounds of construction, beeping trucks, gravel being poured, it made our stay quite miserable. They should give you the heads up. Our room was dirty, we found cheese it’s Throughout the room and there were dirty close left behind. The heater stayed at one temp which was extremely hot. I will not return to this hotel.

Avoid this hotel.
I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but I wanted to warn people. This was so loud and noisy, the door to our room was so warped that it let in so much light from the hall, and you could see people walking by. It was so loud we could hear everything from people above, below, and beside us. There was no way to turn off the heat and it was really hot. The staff seemed nice but this place was awful. We stayed two nights because we were in town for an event and we couldn’t find another available room in town. I would give this place zero stars if possible and will sleep in my truck next time if there is no room available anywhere else.

Staff (particularly the bellhop) were so kind. We forgot/needed a few things and they brought them up promptly. History of the hotel was found all over, but the front desk also had a packet that was handy/interesting. The room didn't have air conditioning, but stayed more than comfortable with the open window and ceiling fan. Outside garden area was beautiful and gas firepits were a nice option. Wish they had the oitside heaters on for more seating at tables though. Super easy and safe to walk across the bridge to downtown. Will definitely stay again!

This is a beautiful property. It is a great example of Victorian architecture. I want a time machine to go back and see it in its hey-day! The room itself was spacious, clean, and well decorated. The bathroom was a mix of old (pedestal sink and tile on the floor) and new (standard metal tub). The proximity of the Glenwood Hot Springs pool is a definite plus. (Although a little easier access for mobility impaired guests would be appreciated.) We were really excited to spend the night there.... Until it came time to sleep. The property has a beautiful lighted courtyard between the wings of rooms. There is a sign in the lobby stating that "quiet hours" were 10 PM to 8 AM. The night we were there a group of extremely rude, loud, and probably inebriated, men and women decided that those rules did not apply to them. At 10:30 I called the front desk to complain. Apparently someone "asked" them to quiet down, because there were a few minutes of bearable volume. But the noise soon escalated to levels exceeding those which prompted my first call. I called the front desk again. It rang about a dozen times then just went silent. A few minutes later tried again but gave up when I got no answer. A little before 11:30 someone broke out a guitar and started singing. (the "don't give your day job" kind of singing). I finally got the front desk to answer and they apparently forced the group to disband. Overall, it would probably be a great place to stay but our experience was not great.

Hotel Colorado has always treated us well. We happened to be on our honeymoon and without them knowing that, they upgraded us to the bell tower suite. It was an amazing experience and the food was excellent.

Beautifully restored hotel. Bathroom was small but efficient. Outdoor areas were nice. Convenient to the pools and walkway across the Interstate and railroad to nice restaurants.
