Went here for our wedding anniversary. Check in went smooth and the history in this Hotel made it even better. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We ordered room service in the morning and the prices were not only reasonable, but the food was prompt and delicious. I would recommend this place to anyone interested in a great place to stay while in Glenwood Springs.

We had to park on the street. Not a fan of paying for parking in addition to cost of a room. There was a high school graduation the first night so it was noisy. The room needed to be darker, lots of light coming in through the window and entry door. At check-in, none of our card keys worked had to go back a couple of times to finally get them working. Conveniently located to Annie’s Bakery, which was extraordinary! We were right by the hot springs - fabulous! Overall, pretty nice for the price.

The property and hotel are beautiful. Restaurant has ecellect food and servers. Rooms could be cleaner. Found glasses under the nightstand covered with dust. Bathroom was biggest disappointment. Had to go out to change your mind it was so small. Had to be a contortionist to maneuver around the sink to use the toilet. Not idea for a person with a handicap. Had i known about the bathroom, id would have asked for handicap accessable. To clse the door when leaving we literally had to slam it shut, not ideal when other guests are sleeping.

Quick and easy check-in. Love the historical hotel. The electrical system was added later as it's surface mounted on the wall. Old (disabled) fireplace in the room. Window mount AC works great as does the modern ceiling fan.

Overall it’s a well kept historic property. For the price however the amenities are lacking. It would be great if they had their own pool. The hotel is old so overall noisy, creaking doors, floors etc. We were there for Memorial Day weekend and the kids were running through the halls up until quiet hours. The rooms have window ac units which are loud and our didn’t work well so it was clicking on and off every few minutes which made it difficult to sleep.
