Worst stay!
Worst stay. Asked for first floor room, ended up on 3rd; room door was so struck I had to push with both hands to open and close; toilet lid not stable; wifi in and out; phone in room to call about wifi not operable; TV unplugged, had to move the fridge to plug it in, no internet service; standing lamp was broken, on/off switch taped closed, had to plug in and out; desk clerk on checkout, when I told her about these issues when I checked out, could not have been more unresponsive, never made eye contact. Never say never, but I will not stay here again.

The hotel has a very good location in Glenwood springs. The overall condition of the hotel is a bit run down. We were not happy with the response of the front office staff to questions about the Wi-Fi access the staff member was preoccupied with personal concerns and responded in a Kurt way.

Great river view
When we arrived 2 weeks after booking the room it had not been cleaned. Bed was a mess towels on the floor. They quickly gave us a different room. The view of the river was great. Phone in 2nd room did not work so i had to go down to the office every time I needed something. Kind of a pain. The staff was friendly enough and they were training a new desk girl. Overall id give them a 3.4 out of 5. Price made it bearable.

I like everything, except that i was double charged for my room. I paid cash at the property and i also received a charge in my card. I am two hours and a half away and it is difficult to go to complaint about it 🙃 😅

Skip this hotel, there are better ones.
It’s outdated and just overall not a great hotel. There are many other places in Glenwood Springs that would have been nicer, especially considering the price we paid. Definitely never going back.
