We have been staying here for years. Our room was very small and our mattress was uncomfortable. Probably least favorite room of all of our visits here. We were right by the elevator and ice machine which was unfortunate. Love the location and ease of check-in and check-out. Would just pick another room next time.

I see pros and cons. We shall start with the pros....The room was clean and maintained. The shower was a perk. I like to be able to take a hot shower without the noise disturbing the guests down the hall. It was quiet. I didn't even hear any neighbors for most of the time there. Now the cons... I like fresh mountain air. My window was screwed closed with no screen. The television had a volume restriction limited to about the level of a mouse fart. I could barely hear it. And if the a/c is on, you better have captions turned on. I did appreciate that some movie streaming was available. But the wifi did not support it. Imagine trying to watch a movie hearing every 3rd word and seeing every 10th frame. Why have a fridge but no microwave? Only one uncomfortable chair option to sit it, otherwise the bed is the only seating. What if I don't want to sit on the bed? We chose this venue because of proximity to the train station. In future trips to town we will actually opt to drag our luggage somewhere else. It's my opinion that this venue is worth only about 1/2 of what we actually paid.

The hotel was great. Clean stylish and perfectly located. The front desk staff was of little help as far as recommendations and any information about the surrounding area. Once I was checked in they seemed to act like their job was done.

The room in the hotel is simply not worth what they charge. The lobby is really nice but the rooms don't match the lobby at all. We were disappointed walking into the room. It is not worth what they charge AT ALL.

A Special Place

A very special boutique hotel steps away from restaurant row. Beautiful views from the Signature Room. The hotel lobby has so many historic pieces and is very well decorated. A great place to stay in Glenwood Springs!

Booked two King rooms for the 4th of July. Greeted by great energy when checking in with a staff member named Ashley. However, another male staff member one evening could hardly be bothered when asked for extra towels. He appeared to be having seated chatting with a female at a table and had when he had to get up to attended to needs at the front desk appeared less than enthusiastic as if bothered to do his job. Room 101 is a nightmare, primarily due to the location. It for one is not part of the main hotel and a guest must exit the hotel entrance and pass to an external door at the end of the block. From the loud slamming of the front entrance that can be heard all day/night in the room to all of the street noise, people talking directly outside the bedroom windows and cars taking off, I can absolutely say we did not sleep well once. If you are just looking for a “room” it’s clean and decorated very well but otherwise I would call this stay “so so” and given the piece tag was not what we expected. Best part of the hotel hands down is Wild the Coffee Shop that’s connected to the hotel inside / out, reasonably priced, a friendly staff and excellent coffee!!
