Location was easy to find and just south of Goderich's main square. There were places for dining located within a few blocks of the motel. The motel was clean, modern, and comfy. The lady at the front desk was very helpful with some recommendations for supper dining. I would certainly recommend this place and if I am back in the area again, I would definitely stay again.

Stayed for just one night in a king room, the room and bathroom were clean. Bathroom was looking new/recently renovated. Only downside AC was quite noisy but very glad it was working! Good size fridge. Coffee maker in room.

Cedar Lodge Motel has always been a favorite as the kids were growing up. The pool is definitely a drawing feature. Cedar Lodge is a reasonably priced place to stay that is clean and feels safe. I have found the staff to be friendly and helpful. It is within a five minute or less drive to many eating places, and shopping areas. The beaches and lighthouse are also within a short drive. If you really enjoy walking then skip driving and get where you want to go on foot.

For the amount paid, we were pleasantly surprised with the updayed rooms and great hotel amenities (pool, hot tub and sauna). The beds were comfortable and considering we only ised the room for sleeping, the size worked for us.

Very clean room. A little on the small side but that's because we booked a double. Pretty washroom, good towels, comfy beds, great fridge, but a very loud air conditioner! Wasn't thrilled with the location of our room - it was in the front and was loud. Motel (exterior) is worn, and sitting on the chairs outside our room was like sitting in a parking lot. The property really needs some sprucing up! A little paint or plants would go a long way. Otherwise, clean rooms and good value

The staff was very kind prior to our visit and throughout the time our family was there. It was a quiet area. We enjoyed the pool. It was also a short distance from the location where the rest of our family was gathering. I would definitely book here again.

Very clean bathroom and room. The main issues were the very loud , old air conditioner and there was a musty smell in the room . One bed was very creaky but they were generally quite comfortable and clean. Good location - close to the town.
