Great location. Helpful, friendly staff- especially Finn, a standout, especially with our kids. Proximity to public transport was a big bonus. Discounted easy access to Hagenbeck Zoo and the Tropen Aquarium was a bonus!

Very good property. The rooms are great. The location is exceptional. Maybe the only complaint is that breakfast was very crowded at 9:00 AM. That said, this would be my go to hotel in Hamburg every time.

This is an elegant, affordable hotel that doesn't take itself too seriously. The location is excellent, on the edge of the pedestrian zone. Even though it's in an old building, the interior is up to date throughout. Its breakfast hall is pleasant and well-stocked. Highly recommended!
