CONS: Our stay here was okay. The bathroom was mouldy even though it was just cleaned. We turned up at 6pm to find the room being cleaned, check-in started at 2pm. We accidentally left something behind and there was never an answer to our call, after multiple attempts. PROS: It is a great location, very convenient. The seafood buffet on a Saturday night is really good. Our beds were comfortable and the room was a good size.

While my car was being repaired very fortunate to find an excellent comfortable large clean room and very impressed with the costs associated with my 2 night relaxing stay. Ideal location overlooking yacht marina. A variety of selections for breakfast lunch & Dinner at competitive prices.

Great view from our balcony was the best feature. Staff were rude, food average in restaurant and next to nothing in the room. 1 x teaspoon, 2 x cups & 2 x glasses was all. It had a microwave but no plates or anything else so not sure how you could eat anything. Check in - nightmare - no one there - sign said back in 10 minutes but took over 30 mins. She was rude and just sent instructions by text on how to get into your room. Would never go back.

When arrived at the hotel was told room was already taken even after showing booking receipt 1.5hrs later room suddenly became available

The rooms are not serviced during your stay. We stayed 4 nights and the room was not touched by staff once. We asked for extra pillows. We were told no we could not have even one. We were given a change of towels at reception when we asked but were told to come back in half an hour to get them. And to bring the dirty ones down. The room however was big enough with a small balcony and a nice outlook over the marina. The bathroom was very ordinary. It is located very conveniently close to sanctuary cove for easy access to the annual boat show. The breakfast (not included) was less than ordinary so we did not venture back. There is a lovely cafe up the road. Welcome to the Hotel California.
