Unimpressed and disappointed

I was disappointed in the room quality. I was what I would find at a comfort inn at IHG prices. The room smelled of mold and funk and it took over an hour while they tried to "clean" it. But that's not going to clean and we all know that. New room was better but still stunk. All the while the desk personnel were smiling and telling me all was ok. "just sit over there (and be ignored). I felt like it was in a B movie where the robot people are exceedingly nice when planning your demise. It wasn't ok. I think i just outlasted them and they wanted to get rid of me so I finally got the "cleaner" room. I opened the door to air the place out and just endured the mid day heat. There are much better places to stay. Food was pricey and insultingly average. I couldn't be convinced to stay here again. Lots of Bentleys and Ferraris. lot's of sizzle, no steak. If i was an executive at IHG I would want to see this review.

The main area and pool are great although the restaurants and accommodation are not as luxurious as I was hoping for. I received a full refund for dinner after waiting close to 2 hours for my meals on New Year’s Eve and the staff were very apologetic.
