I requested a higher room (away from traffic noise) and I ran facing. I absolutely got that and it was lovely. Clean, well set up and everything you could need. Two blocks from central Surfers Paradise -Cavill Mall and all the restaurants and entertainment you could want. Perfect location, lovely pool area and nice spacious foyer. I used the car park and the parks were generous and easily accessible. Highly recommend and would stay here again.

Room average, bathrooms difficult to get in and out of bath. due to configuration. need a bar on the side. Towel racks and towel on the very top I had to get out the ironing board to knock them down, also unclear how to turn the bedlights off in the first room not happy about condescending way I was told I was being given a room upgrade due to aircon problems. It was a lie.

Disappointed for blanket and breakfast

Really disappointed for some serviced and breakfast. We were booked for 2 night stay So Checked in start at 2 pm but the room not ready on time that we have to wait for 30 min till get in the room. The room was wonderful view and full of equipment but no proper blanket. The Blanket that provided was really thin and itchy not help at all for a cool night even heater on. I was go down and request for a proper soft blanket but they said not have any in this hotel. No housekeeping clean my room even I took out the dropped sign. Breakfast was really suck !! Bacon really dry Fried egg was sit there for long and really dry white eggs. No salad dressing provided. Scrambled eggs is to mashy and full of cream. The great thing for this hotel is location and view of the high floor. not worth much for the price but better than some others 4 star hotel.

The view of our apartment would be the only positive. Can hear at night time people next door laugh, sneeze, their tv, and that’s over the sound of the waves of the ocean. The hotel has zero soundproofing in the rooms. The toilet is a stupid layout, the builder who did it should try use a toilet. You need to bend your neck to grab toilet paper, there is a door stop right next to the toilet, so if you not careful you really can hurt your foot. Should hang the door the other around be much better bathroom layout. Curtains were ripped. One can be ok with dated, make it cozy, clean and tidy. My wine glass on night before last exploded when I tried to rince it. Pool was very cold, considering it was hot day barely anyone used it and crammed into the spa, which too is outdated with chips and unregulated temperature. Breakfast was not great, pancakes unbeatable with a taste of dishwashing powder. Coffee inconsistent, because staff were scarce and didn’t top things up. Tables not clean. For the money you pay, it’s not worth it at all, especially when traveling with a small child.

Poor stay overall- waste of money.

We arrived at Mantra Sun City due to our booking at Mantra legends being changed without consulting us. The grounds and reception area were adequate. The rim however had a musty smell, was unclean and not fit for purpose. The bathroom was full of mould, the kitchen dirty including inside cutlery drawers etc and there were stains on the carpets. The bed linen was not clean and beds extremely uncomfortable. This was a stay for our honeymoon that was completely ruined by the state of the room. We were then offered a room with no electric and a room that was completely outdated and again unclean. Upon request we were moved to Mantra Cavil on Circle, on our first look the room was neat, the bathrooms were still not clean however manageable. We had cockroaches in our room and despite asking for room service and this dealing with nobody ever attended our room despite saying that they had done so. Our stay was ruined and very uncomfortable. I had to purchase cleaning products and clean the room as well as wash bed sheets etc myself which we did not travel so far across the world to do to celebrate our honeymoon. Staff were very slow in assisting us and reluctant to help in some cases. I would certainly not stay in a Mantra hotel again.

The gym was well equipped and clean. Asked for two single beds and got two double WINNER! Walked to dinner and night markets and coming back late was not an issue at the entrance and inside was well lit up. Easy parking but didn’t need to use car as everything is close by.
