Pleasant short stay

Stayed overnight for a business trip to Gold Coast, and it was overall a good stay. The (buffet) breakfast experience was not the best I have had - some items ran out and there was a queue for the coffee machine :-) All in all minor and a pleasant stay overall

From the moment we arrived Hannah the Duty Manager looked after us. Room was great, beds really comfy, convenient to everything as the tram was a short walk away. Stingray was great, Friday night with yummy Tacos with Latin dancing and cocktails, what's not to luv. Awesome to have so many food/drink options in house. Thanks for making our Girls Weekend so awesome, great laughter, great memories and of course Bubbles xx

This was the second room we booked but for 5 nights for my parents. Same issue as us, paid extra for a balcony/ocean view room but had access cut off for ‘scheduled maintenance’ yet we couldn’t use it?! Really disappointing. We shouldn’t have been charged extra for our 2 rooms when we couldn’t utilise our balconies and ocean views.

Amazing room, poor experience

The room was gorgeous, but all the balconies were closed. We were not offered compensation for this or notified about it in advance. We would have cancelled our stay if we had known. After complaining, we got a buffet breakfast, but we had specifically booked a suite so we could sit on the balcony enjoying a glass of champagne to celebrate our anniversary, and so we had space to have a nice room service breakfast at a table so that we didn't have to brave the mother's day crowd at a cafe. As well, someone had left our fridge open so the fridge was room temp when we got there. It was really disappointing. Our 4th stay at QT, and probably our last.

Stunning property- we were just really disappointed to get woken up at 8am on departure day to check if we’d used the minibar… checkout is 11am and we’re sleeping in bc we were kid free…! Also really disappointed to pay significantly more for 2 ocean view rooms to have them block access to our balconies due to scheduled maintenance. I don’t think it’s ethical to charge so much when we were unable to use our balconies or get fresh air into our rooms. Great location, great team, just really disappointed with being woken up and also not being able to utilise the balcony which was why we paid the extra.

Expensive but good

The booking was messed up from the beginning requesting a king suite Ocean view…the first night we only go a king Ocean view…we very disappointed and we were going to leave the entire hotel…the duty manager fixed it up the next day which was a bit of a hassle, but the room was so much better…we decided to stay another night but they charged us a ridiculous amount of $386 for a Monday night that the hotel was very much vacant…I felt ripped off slightly…they took advantage of us because we told them that we loved it so much…overall stay was great..very comfy bed and staff we also friendly and polite…not sure if I will stay there again because of all the drama when we arrived…
