This property is very dated, with no office nor any facilities.The outside of the buildings are very drab and somewhat depressing. However the room was clean & if all your looking for is a budget room with a clean bed this could be the place for you.

The room was clean but VERY SMALL and very basic without character. The fridge is defective and the shower needs washers - constant dripping. There is NO RECEPTION, only a screen in the wall. Therefore there is also no service.

Great stay, would recommend!

We were upgraded to a 2 bedroom newly renovated unit/apartment and it was great! We had everything we needed. In spite of the proximity to the main street it wasn’t noisy - we were there on a Sunday night. The people in reception.

Now, if you are looking for a bed and not much else, the Elm will fit the bill. It is a 3-3 1/2 star motel; it is clean and reasonably comfortable, but no thrills. If all is well, you will not see any staff at all. We did, because the security lock for our room was not working, and a staff member had to open it for us. The Motel signage is very poor: we arrived at night and initially drove straight past it. There is a crushed rock parking area, and it is right next to the main road into Bendigo, so it can be a bit noisy. There are basic tea and coffee making facilities, but nothing else; no brekky. As I say, for a bed for the night, it is OK, but don't expect a luxury room and location.

Room was very clean and had all amenities required for a short stay . However it was consistently very noisy (even throughout the night) from heavy traffic nearby . The shower drained poorly . It was obviously an old style motel that had been renovated . It could be great if the noise issue was addressed- double glazing and acoustic panels on walls perhaps?? On the plus side tarrif was economical, and we could see the owners had made an effort to make it comfortable. Freshly painted ,comfy beds , good heating/cooling .

The room was clean and comfortable but the conditioner in the shower hadn't been filled. I think there needs to be curtains so you don't have to close the blinds during the day for privacy.. We stayed a sat night and we found it was noisy due to some hoons on the road.

Surprisingly great! Best sleep I’ve ever had in a hotel/motel. When I pulled up I was immediately concerned. There were multiple people sitting in cars in the driveway smoking and talking.. some sitting outside the cars. Loitering basically. There were about 10plus council wheely bins over flowing with rubbish next to entry. It felt very unsafe for myself and my kids. I had no choice though and had to stay. I proceeded to my room and was pleasantly surprised. New, clean, tidy room. The beds were so so comfortable, fast wifi, shampoo, conditioner, soap dispensers etc. for the price of this room it was really good value for money. If they can hide the rubbish bins from view and do something about the loitering people, it would feel much safer & not give off a crack den hotel vibe on first glance. Also the doors need instructions on how to put in the code. I had no idea it was a digital touch keypad because it didn’t light up till you touched it in the right spot. I had no idea I had to press on it. It just looked like a card pass key system. Luckily a worker had just pulled up in his car & came and helped me.

Overal it was ok for what you pay but just did not give me the best of vibes. First is the receptionist check in, fridge was tiny and door parts broken etc. heating battled and out side grounds just had rubbish piled up and it just looked in appealing. Has potential with a little attention
