Lovely hotel. Large spacious room. Clean and had everything we needed. Lovely breakfast with lots of choice. Would definitely stay again.

The property is fantastic and has beautiful views of the city. Great amenities and the staff were all so friendly and helpful. Only downsides were that food is not served past 9:00 pm and there were some narrow roads leading to the hotel. But once there, it was a fantastic place to stay.

The hotel is in a good location, and staff were generally helpful, however the hotel its self needs updating in regards to its rooms and amenities. Our room was like a sweat box with the fan making little to no difference. The window could barely open and even during the night a breeze was not circulating. Air con is a necessity in the summer months. Thank God we were only staying 1 night or would have moved hotels. Bathroom was not that clean and in need of a paint job. We had requested an extra fan but request was not fulfilled

The air conditioning did not work.

Old bank house needs an uplift . Room furniture was old and not in good shape . Sink had a big crack . Dirt on carpet floor . But the bathroom had a lovely tub which was perfect after a hectic day . Online it says you need to check in at the Blue Haven but I went there and was told they now have a check in at the hotel itself . There is NO Parking at the hotel . We arrived on a lovely Sunday afternoon and the town was blocked with people and roads jammed .

Although this hotel is near the airport and not the city center, we used the public bus both ways to the city center and it was very easy. The front desk staff can give you information about the bus. Taking the shuttle to the airport is very easy - just tell the lobby desk what time you'd like to leave and they will arrange it. The shuttle typically leaves every half hour. Food in The New Yorker was very good.
