Hot water wasn't hot, was barely warm, no tea bags, rubbish bin was full hadn't been emptied from previous guests. Staff were wonderful, bed was very comfortable.

Didn't like the that my elderly mother was attacked by a hotel squatter. who magically had a key to my mother's room that reception 'didnt' know about. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone

We enjoyed our short stay in Goulburn, so many beautiful old buildings. The Carlton Suites were a good choice, close to the train station and town. It was clean, comfortable bed, good shower, friendly staff and our room even had the kitchen sink with the microwave, toaster and kettle. We would definitely stay there again.

It was definitely not like the photos on Expedia. It is a very old establishment trying to be new. We will not stay there again, and this is our first time crossing Goulburn, and we have have 4 to 5 crossings still to go. We travel alot.!!! within Australia. The carpet is old, and in the photos it showed tiles. The outside of the building is very old. Where has it gone since Covid>?>? My partner left at 5.30am in the morning he felt so uncomfortable. Seriously feeling like asking for a refund Expedia. It is definitely not what it says it is. Extremely unfair advertising.

Nice property, paintings outvthe back are very nice. Only tea supplied no coffee. Staff very helpful with additional blankets when heating initially not working, staff were good to come in an supply new remote. End room a little noisy with exit door slaming everytime someone enters/exits

Don’t let the exterior fool you — the inside of Carlton Suites is clean, modern, and surprisingly spacious. Check-in was smooth and the staff were friendly. Our room had a great living/dining/kitchen area and the bedrooms were well set up for families. A few small issues: the king bed had a queen fitted sheet, the TV in the master had no remote (same model as lounge, so it worked), and the pillows were stained and well-worn. Also, there were sealed skylights/ceiling gaps in the bathroom and toilet that looked a bit rough. Still, the comfort and space outweighed the negatives — we'd stay again.
