I was travelling alone and felt completely safe during my stay. The receptionist was extremely helpful and pleasant. The room smelt lovely and was spotless, really comfortable and quiet at night. The hotel is in a great location, literally minutes from restaurants, shops and buildings/places of interest. The only thing missing was. Kettle, I love a morning tea in my room 😃

We arrived late night but was given an instruction on how to get it. The property is walkable to most monument or places to visit. We didn’t use public transportation and just walked around to mirador de san Nicolas, Alhambra, Sacremanto for Flamenco dance and other areas.

The magic of Federico
Great service. Great location. There is a patio on the roof with a remarkable view of the Alhambra and the cathedral. You can ask the front desk and they would bring you beer on the terrace. Then you relax and enjoy the view and the sunset.

Charming hotel with lots of character. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was close to the cathedral and Gran Via where you could catch busses to the Alhambra, Albacin and Sacromonte. Our room was a little tight for two full sized suitcases but the bathroom was spacious and had several hooks, great lighting and shelves. Quiet location that was safe. Would definitely stay here again.

It’s nice generally. It’s only a few minutes away from the cathedral. It’s clean and the owner is very friendly. But the room is not soundproof at all. I can hear even as soft as someone brushing his teeth in the next room. And there’s many ants in the toilet.

Lovely little hostal for an excellent price
I absolutely loved this place! It was the best hostal I stayed in during my 2-week trip around Spain. The staff is super friendly and helped me get oriented to the city when I checked in. The room was gorgeous with a nice view of the street below. They even upgraded me for free because they had the space. The rooftop patio has a nice 360 view of the city including the catedral and you can order drinks up there. It can get a little noisy with guests walking and talking loudly in the stairwell, but that’s no fault of the staff and has more to do with rude guests. I would highly recommend this hostal to anyone staying in Grenada, especially solo travelers.
